Prestigious American Heritage Private School Raises $10,000 for Radical Mosque

High tuition costs, but money to spare for terror and bigotry.

American Heritage Schools (AHS) are a pair of high-priced college preparatory schools located in South Florida, with campuses in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. AHS calls itself the “#1 School In Florida.” It boasts the “Highest Number of National Merit Scholars” – 175 for the Class of 2023, 16 Presidential Scholars, and 168 AP/Honors courses with a “94% rate on all AP exams.” Yet, for a school(s) that would appear so smart, it just did something awfully foolish and alarming. It bragged about how one of its clubs raised $10,000 for an entity linked to terror and bigotry. If the educational institution has any integrity, it will demand the money is given back.

On March 8th, the AHS Broward campus, which is located in Plantation, proudly posted on its Facebook page about how its Arabic Club organized a Ramadan food drive to raise money for the Islamic Foundation of South Florida, a radical mosque based in Sunrise. It stated, “The Arabic Club organized a food drive for the day of Ramadan. Led by Mr. Jose Bronca, club advisor, and Mohamed Hachem, club president, the Arabic Club made the Heritage community aware of the needs of the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF)… Many people donated money to the foundation, raising $10,000. Thank you to everyone that supported this drive!”

This was shocking, given IFSF’s disturbing history.

The former Youth Director and Events Coordinator for IFSF is local Muslim activist Abdur Rahman al-Ghani. Al-Ghani believes Jews are inherently wicked. His Facebook posts have described Jews as “the children of Satan” and “demonic.” About homosexuals, he has written, “If you are gay, you are not a Muslim, you are a stone cold kaffir outside the fold of Islam. No one is born gay, it is a sickness…” He has posted a photo of Hamas militants with the caption (in part), “We love u Hamas. U are the real hero.” He has labeled the US the “World’s Number One Terrorist Organization” and wrote that Islam “will over-take the World in numbers.”

In April 2014, IFSF hosted a talk by Mazen Mokhtar, a former administrator for the now-defunct al-Qaeda financing and recruitment site, Jihad in Chechnya (qoqaz.net). The site was produced by Azzam Publications, named for the mentor of Osama bin Laden and co-founder of al-Qaeda, Abdullah Yusuf Azzam. Mokhtar has described suicide bombings as “an effective method of attacking the enemy and continuing jihad.” About Hamas, he wrote, “One of the reasons of my support for Hamas is that they have very high moral standards…” and “the operations of HAMAS are heroic…”

Of course, Abdur Rahman al-Ghani may no longer be involved with IFSF, and the Mazen Mokhtar speech was nearly a decade ago. However, recent events at IFSF and affiliations of the mosque demonstrate that the radical identity of IFSF is entirely unchanged.

Last month, IFSF hosted an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group with financial and foundational ties to Hamas. In December 2022, a sermon was given at IFSF by Shafayat Mohamed, an imam who has been thrown off several Broward boards for his anti-gay rhetoric and whose mosque, Darul Uloom, has been a haven for high-profile al-Qaeda operatives. In June 2022, IFSF hosted a speech by a representative from Islamic Relief, a group that has been banned by a number of nations. And in March 2022, IFSF hosted an event for the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a group with a variety of links to South Asian terror.

IFSF and its children’s school, Salah Tawfik Elementary & Middle School (STEMS), are currently members of the South Florida Muslim Federation (SFMF), an umbrella organization for South Florida’s many extremist Muslim groups, including all of the entities mentioned already and a number of radical mosques beyond IFSF and Darul Uloom.

One of IFSF’s fellow Federation mosques is Masjid Jamaat Al-Mumineen (MJAM), which promotes on its website material: calling Jews and Christians “enemies,” sanctioning domestic violence against women, glorifying female genital mutilation, and mandating death punishments for homosexuals. In September 2021, IFSF hosted a talk by MJAM’s imam, Izhar Khan. In May 2011, the FBI accused Khan of plotting with members of his family to help finance the Taliban.

Another SFMF mosque, the Islamic Center of Boca Raton (ICBR), was founded by a website designer for Hamas and a former assistant to a leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). In May 2021, IFSF hosted an event with ICBR founding Imam Ibrahim Dremali and IFSF Imam Sultan Mohammed, titled ‘LET’S TALK PALESTINE.’ One day prior, Dremali lauded Hamas and PIJ, saying “The only people right now in Gaza fighting are Hamas and Jihad… Don’t worry. Victory is coming soon.” Dremali also had implored people to read Protocols of the Elders of Zion and said, “If the Arab leaders open the borders for Palestine… the Jews they’ll be inside that ocean.”

Following the August 2020 explosion that devastated Beirut, Lebanon, leaving hundreds dead, thousands injured, and over $15 billion in property damage, the Arabic Club of American Heritage Schools sent two sizable containers filled with clothes, food and medicine to Beirut. It was a legitimate and commendable act, and the group was praised for doing so.

However, what was neither legitimate nor commendable was for the club to raise money for the extremist IFSF. Given the mosque’s numerous links to terrorism and bigotry, not a dime raised was warranted, let alone $10,000. Advisor Jose Bronca and AHS failed to exercise due diligence in investigating the insidious nature of their funds’ recipient. As a result, donors were duped into thinking their money would go to a worthy cause and institution.

The AHS slogan is “Knowledge, Integrity, Compassion.” AHS and its Arabic Club should live up to this motto and show ‘integrity’ by owning up to their mistake and immediately demanding that the money be returned. Providing funds to such an organization as IFSF is both immoral and a threat to security.

Beila Rabinowitz, Director of Militant Islam Monitor, contributed to this report.

Female Fantasist Made False Accusations, Ruined Men's Lives, Some Still Believe Her

'She's destroyed many lives, not only mine... and people STILL think I'm guilty': Father, 22, who attempted suicide after fantasist Eleanor Williams falsely accused him of rape tells of his fury that people still take her side - despite her being jailed

  • Jordan Trengove attempted suicide after being falsely accused of rape in 2019
  • He spent 73 days in prison in a sex offenders wing after Eleanor Williams lied

A young father who was driven to attempt suicide after fantasist Eleanor Williams falsely accused him of rape says he is 'destroyed' by the fact that there are 'still believers on her side' despite her being thrown in jail.

Jordan Trengove spent 73 days in prison in a sex offenders wing after Williams, then 19, claimed he drugged and raped her after they met in a nightclub in March 2019. She further alleged he came to her flat, threatened her with a knife and attacked her.

Angry locals who believed her lies targeted Mr Trengove, 22, by smashing his window and spray painting the word 'rapist' across his home.

Despite Williams being proven a serial liar, the young father has now revealed that he thinks she 'should get life in prison'. Williams was jailed for eight-and-a-half years after being found guilty of eight counts of perverting the course of justice.

The judge told Preston Crown Court on Tuesday that she has shown 'no significant signs of remorse' and her motive for lying about being a rape victim remains unknown.

Mr Trengove shared how he attempted suicide in front of his own mother - 'but survived' - after locals in Barrow-in-Furness started to believe Williams' lies.

'She was getting so much support and there was so much grief,' Mr Trengove told The Sun after her sentencing, adding: 'I wanted away from it all.'

Even though he has been proven innocent, Mr Trengove says the situation has fuelled his desire to move out of the area.

He claims he told his partner that they have two years to relocate because he 'doesn't want to be in the area when [Williams] is released.'

Mr Trengove, appearing yesterday on Talk TV's Piers Morgan Uncensored, also shared that he thought Williams should have received a life sentence for her crimes.

He claimed his solicitor told him that he could face 22 years in prison if he had been found guilty of the crimes Williams alleged against him, but noted that the liar only received eight-and-a-half years.

'She's destroyed many lives, not only mine,' he said. 'So she should have her life took away from her.'

In the UK, perverting the course of justice can carry a sentence of up to life in prison, although experts say receiving life imprisonment is unlikely.

Mr Trengove has started 'taking steps to rebuild my life,' but is still heavily affected by the situation.

He noted that he is really struggling with the fact that some people still believe the liar and continue to campaign online on her behalf.

'Even now there are still believers on her side. This destroyed us all,' he added.

Mr Trengove briefly met Williams at a nightclub while on a night out with his friends in March 2019.

His friend group spent about two hours with the fantasist before going their separate ways, however Williams later claimed that Mr Trengove assaulted her that night.

But in reality the 22-year-old was with police during the time of the alleged assault. He had gone to a friend's house and was picked up by officers in connection to an unrelated argument by a taxi rank.

Despite having what Mr Trengove described as 'probably the most solid alibi', he was arrested in May 2019 after Williams made a second complaint.

He was held on remand for ten weeks in a sex offenders wing, before finally being cleared.

But during a three month trial, Preston Crown Court heard she told a pack of lies, and falsified evidence.

Williams had falsely accused multiple people of abusing her, with a jury finding her guilty of eight counts of perverting the course of justice

She created false social media accounts, doctored innocent men's profiles and even attacked herself with a hammer before posting her injuries on social media.

Her lies resulted in Mohammed Ramzan, a local businessman, being arrested and wrongly accused of leading a gang that who trafficked girls to sex parties across the North of England.

She claimed that Mr Ramzan, 43, had trafficked her to Amsterdam. But the court heard that, at the time she was in the Netherlands, his bank card was being used at a B&Q in Barrow.

Williams also gave police an account of being taken to Blackpool, where she said Mr Ramzan threatened her and she was taken to different addresses and forced to have sex with men.

But police made inquiries, found she had travelled to the seaside resort alone and stayed in a hotel, where she bought a Pot Noodle from a nearby shop and then remained in her room watching YouTube on her phone.

Mr Razman and Williams met only once - briefly at a family party, he told the court.

Oliver Gardner was accused of raping Williams and selling her as a sex worker after a chance encounter at Preston station.

Similarly, Cameron Bibby was accused of raping Williams when she was 16 after a house party in the town.

In May 2020, Williams was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Williams posted a shocking image of her badly bruised face and body on Facebook, with a long post describing how she had been 'abused' since the age of 12.

The post was shared more than 100,000 and a Justice For Ellie Facebook group was established.

Williams was convicted of eight counts of perverting the course of justice in January and sentenced earlier this week.

Vile rape allegations Williams made against five men

A woman who made false rape allegations against five men gave accounts of being trafficked in Ibiza and sold at auction in Amsterdam.

Eleanor Williams, 22, was jailed  for perverting the course of justice.

Below are some of the lies Williams told.

The first claim

The first false allegation was made by Williams when she was 16.

Preston Crown Court heard she had been with others at Cameron Bibby's house in November 2017 when she was sick after drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis.

Mr Bibby and his friends contacted Williams' sister and mother, who came to collect her and later took her to hospital, where she alleged she had been raped.

Williams withdrew support from a prosecution in January 2018, after Mr Bibby had been arrested.

Injuries

In March 2019 Williams had been on a night out with Jordan Trengove when she was taken home after becoming intoxicated.

She would later allege Mr Trengove raped her that night, and then on two later occasions, claiming he came to her flat, attacked her and threatened her with a knife.

The court heard she did have injuries following the alleged attack.

Honorary Recorder of Preston Judge Robert Altham said: 'She caused them to herself to support her allegations. As we will see this was to become a feature of her conduct.'

Trafficking

Williams claimed she had been groomed since the age of 12 or 13 by local business owner Mohammed Ramzan, who she falsely claimed took her across the region and persuaded her to have sex with other men.

She described punishment beatings, rape, a girl nearly dying as a result of a beating and another having a dog set on her.

Honorary Recorder of Preston Judge Robert Altham said: 'This was a detailed account of the most serious sort of sex trafficking.'

Amsterdam

Williams told police she had been taken to Amsterdam by Mr Ramzan, forced to work in a brothel and sold at an auction for 25,000 Euros, but the buyer did not go through with the deal.

During the trial, Jonathan Sandiford KC compared the account to a scene from the Liam Neeson film Taken, in which an ex-Secret Service agent's teenage daughter is abducted by human traffickers.

Preston Crown Court heard Williams had been in Amsterdam, but had shared a hotel room with her sister and sister's boyfriend.

At the time Williams was in the Netherlands, Mr Ramzan's bank card was being used at a B&Q in Barrow, police discovered.

Ibiza

Williams said she was taken to Ibiza by Mr Ramzan and made to have sex with men.

She admitted this was not true when officers suggested they check flight documents, but at trial she maintained the allegation.

Blackpool

When police investigated Williams' account of being taken to addresses in Blackpool and forced to have sex with men, they found she had gone to the seaside resort alone and, after buying a Pot Noodle from a nearby shop, spent most of her time in her hotel room watching YouTube.

Preston

After a chance encounter with Oliver Gardner in Preston city centre, Williams initially claimed he was a trafficker who forced her to take cocaine, sold her to two Asian men and raped her.

Judge Altham said: 'This was a complete fabrication, much of it would be disproved from CCTV.'

The hammer

In what the prosecution called her 'finale event', in May 2020 Williams was found by police with injuries including a swollen eye, cut finger and injuries to her legs and abdomen which were 'too numerous to count'.

She would later post pictures of the injuries on Facebook with a description of being beaten, groomed and trafficked by Asian men.

But, evidence from a pathologist found the injuries were consistent with being caused to herself.

A hammer found at the scene had her DNA on and was identical to one she had purchased from Tesco earlier in the month.
