Famous Aussie Muslim Dies: Said Women Are Like Pieces of Meat Liable to be Eaten by Cats

Sheik Taj El-Din Hilaly: Australia's most famous Muslim cleric behind infamous comment about women and 'pieces of meat' dies

A Muslim cleric who famously compared uncovered women to 'pieces of meat' has died in Egypt at 82.

Sheik Taj El-Din Hilaly's death - once Australia's most high-profile Islamic cleric as Mufti of Australia - was confirmed by his daughter, Asma, in a statement to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday morning.

Hilaly was one of the most controversial figures in Australia in the early 2000s after making a series of contentious remarks.

In October 2006, he sparked a firestorm after comparing women who did not cover up their skin to 'uncovered meat' left to be eaten by cats.

If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats' or the uncovered meat?' Hilaly said in a Ramadan sermon.

'The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred.'

That made women so angry they planned to march in bikinis at Lakemba mosque.

Two years earlier, in 2004, a sermon he gave at a mosque in Lebanon included comments in support of the attack on the World Trade Centre.

'September 11 is God's work against oppressors,' he said.

'If we ask its pilot who reached his objective without error, who led your steps? … God is the answer.'

In a separate speech, Hilaly praised jihadist militants fighting U.S.-led coalition forces in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In 2007, he said Muslims are more Australian than those with convict ancestors.

He died just after he finished a pilgrimage to Mecca, called Umrah. His cause of death is unknown.

Hilaly served as the Inam of Lakemba Mosque for 31 years, between 1982 and 2013. He was appointed Mufti of Australia in 1988.

In 2005, he was named 'Muslim man of the year' at the Australian Muslim Achievement Awards.

Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali, Australia's most senior Muslim cleric, compared immodestly-dressed women who do not wear the Islamic headdress with meat that is left uncovered in the street and is then eaten by cats.

He said in September 2006 that women were asking for attention when they failed to cover up their flesh with a hijab.

U.S. Politics: For Just $83,140, Princeton Will Train Your Son to Be a Drag Queen

For Just $83,140, Princeton Will Train Your Son to Be a Drag Queen

Princeton's new intriguing scholarships.

It costs a staggering $83,140 to send a student to Princeton University, and that’s just for one year. Four years of this august Ivy League school will set you back a cool $332,560, and just think: for that kind of money, you could have bought a brand-new Corvette convertible every year and had some spare change left over.

But Princeton has its benefits: you may not be able to tool around in the glorious sunshine with the wind blowing your hair back, but for all that dough, Princeton will take your thoughtful, intelligent son and turn him into a prancing, preening, children’s-innocence-stealing drag queen. And they will do that in just one year, in case you can’t afford all four. Hey, it’s worth $83,140 to get in step with the times, isn’t it?

The College Fix reported Thursday that Princeton has launched a “new ‘Drag University’ program” that purports to “train students in the ‘artform.’” Do parents send their children to Princeton for this? If there are any parents out there (and I’m sure there are, complete with peeling Bernie stickers on their Volvos) who would be pleased and proud, nay, thrilled, if their sons became drag queens), there are cheaper ways to accomplish this than plunking down $83,140 to get him or her or xer or whatever a degree from Princeton.

The Princeton drag queen training program is “open to all undergraduate and graduate students interested in the world of drag,” so students need not be concerned that they might be too young for it. And there are no prerequisites or preliminary courses that enrollees have to take; they can go from zero to drag queen with just one course. No wonder Princeton charges so much.

The course goes for the entire “academic” year and covers a sweeping array of pressing issues that every young man who will be graduating from college and facing the future in the next few years needs to know, and know thoroughly. These include “the history of drag, ‘Sewing 101,’ choreography, face painting, photoshoots, and other topics,” as if all that wasn’t quite enough, thank you very much.

On the cutting edge as always, Princeton was actually offering scholarships for this course. An Instagram post stated: “Drag University is a new program housed under the mentorship pillar of the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center,” as anyone would expect. The Gender + Sexuality Resource Center describes itself as fostering “a supportive and inclusive campus community for women, femme, trans and queer Princetonians.”

In line with that mission, Princeton’s Drag University is a full-year program that will “teach about the history of drag, as well as the art form of drag. Sessions will be taught by local drag performers, on-campus partners who know their way around machines, and other students. This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students. The first 8 applicants who commit to the entire curriculum and attend orientation will get a scholarship to cover costs of supplies.”

Generous. This course, however, is so very much in line with the spirit of the age that all the scholarships were snapped up in the twinkling of an eye. The College Fix noted that “the form was updated this week to note: ‘At this time we have reached our capacity for our scholarships, but you are more than welcome to attend our workshops.’” That kind invitation appears to be extended only to Princeton students, so you’re still in for the $83,140.

Considering that “pride” is the emblematic slogan and second-favorite deadly sin of the entire LGBTQETC movement, it would have been only natural for Princeton to be effusive and enthusiastic about its new Drag University and happy to respond to inquiries. However, when The College Fix reached out to university administrators, Princeton’s media affairs division, and the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center seeking information about “the number of students enrolled and what pool of money is being used to fund the scholarships,” all of them ignored the inquiries.

Surely they couldn’t have something to hide, could they? Surely they are just bursting with pride about their Drag University, and want all Princeton parents and alumni to know about it, don’t they? Don’t they? If not, why not? Could it be that somewhere underneath their dresses, exaggerated makeup, and wigs, Princeton administrators still have some understanding that this sort of “academic course” is deeply offensive on numerous levels and has no place in any decent university? Inconceivable!

Pud says:  I question the wisdom and sanity of the academics and administrators of Princeton University, surely a drag queen training program is not a bona fide academic study at a top university but a profession best taught in a school for the performing arts. I also must protest that this is a clear example of elitist & White privilege as only wealthy White Liberal parents will be able to afford the $83,140 a year fee and not any poor and needy Gay / Transgender Democrat voters who are desperate to get a drag queen degree! (Sarcasm) . America's best hope of stopping the spread of the Soros funded perverse anti-American LGBTQ platform now prioritized by the evil Biden administration is re-electing Donald Trump as POTUS in 2024. If the Democrats remain in power America will remain in grave danger of becoming just anther failed 3rd world dictatorship shithole run behind the scenes by Obama, Soros and crooks like Joe and Hunter Biden.

God Bless America and may God grant Donald Trump victory in 2024 and protect him from harm, Amen!

Stoneman Willie: Mummified man to be buried after 128 years on display in Pennsylvania

The true identity of the man was unknown for many years, until now, when his real name will be inscribed on the tombstone of his grave.

A mummified man is going to receive a proper burial after being on display at a funeral home in Pennsylvania for 128 years.

Known as Stoneman Willie, the man died in a local jail in 1895, where he suffered from kidney failure after being arrested for pickpocketing.

He was accidentally mummified by an undertaker who was experimenting with new embalming techniques, according to Auman's Funeral Home in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Dressed in a suit with a bow tie, Stoneman Willie is displayed in a coffin with a red sash across his chest. His hair and teeth remain intact, and his skin has taken on a leathery appearance.

Having given a fake name at the time of his arrest, the man's identity remained unknown for many years and local officials were unable to contact any relatives.

But using historical documents, Stoneman Willie's real name has been identified and will be inscribed at the bottom of his tombstone when his body is buried on 7 October.

"We don't refer to him as a mummy. We refer to him as our friend Willie," funeral director Kyle Blankenbiller said.

"He has just been such an icon, such a storied part of not only Reading's past but certainly its present."

The funeral home had petitioned the state for permission to keep the body instead of burying it to monitor the process of the experimental embalming technique.

Army Helicopters Flying Overhead Cause a Sex Frenzy Among Australian Crocodiles

Army helicopters flying overhead at Queensland farm spark a sex frenzy among crocodiles

Army helicopters flying at a low range coupled with fierce electrical storms are causing an odd sex frenzy among crocodiles on a rural farm.

John Lever, owner of The Koorana Crocodile Farm near Rockhampton in Queensland, noticed that his crocodiles have been especially fertile since Singaporean Chinook helicopters began flying over his farm.

Experts are trying to understand why the helicopters, combined with recent electrical storms, are having such a significant impact on crocodile mating season.

But professors from the University of Queensland and Darwin University are at odds about what exactly is the cause of the amorous activity.

Leading theories point towards crocodiles mistaking the reverberations from helicopters as mating calls and changes in biometric pressure as explanations.

Dr Cameron Baker, who specialises in the ecology, behaviour and social structure of the estuarine crocodile at Darwin University, thinks that male crocodiles are mistaking the distinct thuds of the Chinook as mating calls from competing crocs.

'It might be producing a very low-frequency "thump, thump" as it hits the water. That may just coincidentally be similar to some of the sounds big male crocodiles produce to say, "Hey, this is my turf",' Dr Baker told ABC.

Zookeepers discovered that an 18-year-old female American Crocodile, an apex predator growing up to 20ft, was guarding a clutch of 14 eggs in her enclosure, despite not having seen a male in over a decade.

The Singapore Armed Forces have been holding bilateral military training operations in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area about 100 kilometres north of Rockhampton since 2020.

Officers flying the Chinook helicopters use the Koorana Crocodile Farm as a marker point to change course mid-flight.

Mr Lever said that every time they pass over it elicits the same response, and he also believes it has something to do with their thumping sound.

'We had a big Chinook that came down low because the guys wanted to take some pictures of the crocodiles. They were hanging out the door … and of course, Chinooks have got a big thump, thump, thump, like that,' he told the publication.

After the Chinook left Mr Lever said that his crocodiles quickly began mating.

Crocodile mating season spans from September to April in North Queensland which coincides with the wet season, sparking another theory from Dr Barker.

'They're probably using (Chinooks) as a bit of a cue to say, "Hey, the wet's coming" … and it's a good time to start mating so the eggs are ready to be laid at just the right time,' Dr Baker said.

This year Mr Lever said that an especially warm winter coupled with early-September thunderstorms have created the perfect mating conditions.

Crocodiles usually vocalise to each other when they are ready to mate, according to Mr Lever.

Because they do not have sophisticated voice boxes, the reptiles simply vibrate their windpipes to send messages through the water.

The added vibrations of electrical storms and low-flying helicopters help make the most out of mating season, which only lasts a matter of minutes.

Professor Craig Franklin, who specialises in Zoology at the University of Queensland, said that crocodiles mate during storms because of a change in barometric pressure.

'We don't know what happens in farms, but our research shows that in the field they respond to rainfall events … and of course, they're often associated with a change in barometric pressure,' Professor Franklin said.

'These would all be signals that the crocodile relies upon to time its breeding activity.'

The Koorana Crocodile Farm produces roughly 2,000 eggs per year, of which 1,200 result in a hatchling.

Droughts and dry summers like the ones seen in 2020 can drastically reduce these numbers, which heavily impacts the profitability of the farm.

The farm faced six years of El Nino conditions in the 1990s, but the Bureau of Meteorology announcing that El Nino would hit this year does not seem to have impacted this season's production forecasts.

Severe thunderstorms hit coastal Queensland at the beginning of September and unpredictable weather conditions have continued since then.

Chinook helicopters are also a staple of this time of year since Australia signed a military training treaty with Singapore which has led to 14,000 Singapore armed forces personnel operating in the area.

The treaty allows Singaporean troops to participate in unilateral training in the region for up to 18 weeks a year for the next 25 years.
