The drink has the tongue-in-cheek name of TRIP and has been flying off the shelves at the royal farm shop in Berkshire in the UK.

The cannabis-infused health drink has proven extremely popular at the Windsor Farm Shop, which is situated on the edge of Windsor Great Park in Berkshire.

Queen Elizabeth’s famous farm shop sells goods from the royal estates, such as fresh farm produce, royal memorabilia, limited-edition china and traditional sweets.

CANNABIS DRINK SAID TO BRING BALANCE AND CLARITY

The 250ml, 21-calorie drink is available in four flavours – peach, ginger, mint, and elderflower. It is said to improve “your mental clarity and your body balance”. The drink also contains ginseng, lemon balm, turmeric and an amino acid called L-theanine.

It contains 15mg of cannabinoid — known as CBD – and sells for £2.19 (R45).

The canned drink is branded with peace V sign on the can. It is marketed as a “guilt-free drink for good times” on the website of the North London-registered company.

CANNABIS PRODUCT ALSO AVAILABLE AT OTHER HIGH-END STORES

“The drinks are quite quirky but very unusual for a farm shop — especially one run by the Queen,” an insider told The Sun newspaper. “’They are selling out quick. People pick up about seven or eight each time.”

The farm shop is just one of the outlets that stock the product. It is also available in high-end stores like Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Planet Organic, Daylesford Farm and Equinox Studios.
