Tinfoil hats are great

 Tinfoil hats are great

"Jerm, you're a tinfoil-hat-wearing idiot!"

That's from an email I received recently, and it made me laugh. It made me laugh because it affirms my sheep cartoon.

Let's make something clear.

Conspiracies happen daily.

They might be small or they might be big. They might be secretive or they might be public knowledge. They have occurred for as long as humans have existed. To think otherwise is utterly stupid.

Conspiring is about power and money. It's really not a difficult concept to grasp.

Alexander The Great conspired against the Persians. Julius Caesar's advisors conspired against him. The Rwandan government conspired against the Tutsis. The CIA hasn't stopped conspiring against, well, pretty much everybody. The world's most powerful individuals haven't stopped conspiring at Bohemian Grove (like they did in 1942 when they secretly conceived the Manhattan Project). Jacob Zuma and the Guptas secretly conspired by capturing the state (hence the useless Zondo Commission).

Furthermore, a conspiracy theory is not a theory when it's out in the open.

For example, if we're talking about the Chinese Communist Party's plan for world domination, then yes, it's a bit more secretive. Jin Canrong is known as China's "state master" and is a professor at the Chinese People’s University in Beijing, as well as an adviser to the Chinese Communist Party and - surprise surprise - World Economic Forum.

He gave a (rare) inside view of what the Chinese government is planning, and I recommend you read it

"America’s decline is the CCP’s best opportunity to pursue its goal: the dominance of the whole world. The more divided and chaotic the U.S. is, the likelier it is that the CCP will succeed."

Like I said, conspiracies happen daily.

Calling me names simply means that you should be on a playground with other toddlers who haven't learnt to read yet.

Speaking of which, a year ago I was called a "tinfoil-hat-wearing idiot" when I said that "COVID passports" are coming, meaning that you will be denied freedoms based on your vaccine status.

Guess what?

What blows my mind is that so many people happily accept all of this and think it's fantastic.

In Israel, air travellers are being made to wear "freedom bracelets"on arrival, which have nothing to do with a virus and everything to do with state surveillance, data collection, and increased control.

And segregation.

The main problem is that the media is a powerful propaganda machine.

Yuri Bezmenov, a former KGB agent of propaganda, said that the Soviet government tested propaganda techniques on Soviet citizens and found that it takes around two months to successfully indoctrinate people.

One last time for those at the back: conspiracies happen daily.

And there's one happening right in front of you, and it's not even a secret.

It's out in the open.

But let's not forget that I'm a tinfoil-hat-wearing idiot.
