South Africa: Farm murder: Farmer fatally shot, robbed of firearms, Amersfoort

A farm murder took place on the morning of 16 May 2021, in Amersfoort, in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. A farmer (58) was found shot dead on his farm near his bakkie that was still idling.The farmer had been out on routine patrols checking on his animals when he was attacked by an unknown number of attackers.
The farmer’s firearms, a 9mm pistol and a rifle were robbed from him during the attack.
The circumstances around the attack and murder are unclear but are being investigated by the police. There have been no arrests.
