Hamas Praises Albo (Aussie Prime Minister)

Hamas has praised Anthony Albanese's decision to recognise Palestine as a state, with the listed terror group claiming it vindicates their October 7 massacre.

The Prime Minister revealed that Australia would recognise Palestinian statehood at the United Nations next month, following similar commitments made by other Western "allies", including the UK, France, and Canada.

Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas and one of the terror group's most senior figures in the West Bank, has welcomed the Labor government's move and called on other Western nations to follow suit.

'We welcome Australia’s decision to recognise the state of Palestine' Yousef told the Sydney Morning Herald

'We call on all countries to follow Australia’s example.'

Yousef, one of the spiritual leaders of Hamas, said Albanese's decision had vindicated the October 7 attacks.

Sheikh Hassan Yousef (pictured), a co-founder of Hamas and one of the terror group's most senior figures in the West Bank, welcomed the Labor government's move to recognise Palestinian statehood, saying it justifies the terrorists October 7 attack on Israeli civilians.

'Yes, the escalation of armed resistance, including the operations carried out on October 7, has  drawn global attention to the Palestinian cause and compelled many countries and organisations to support the recognition of Palestine as a state.'

Albanese said that Hamas would play no future role in the Palestinian state, free elections would be held and that the region will demilitarise.

But Yousef insisted that Hamas would not consider any elections legitimate unless Hamas were on the ballot.

Anthony Albanese had previously insisted the move would be 'totally opposed' by Hamas, who the Palestinian Authority had assured him would play no role in any future state (pictured: Albanese is confronted by protesters while touring the the Royal Queensland Show in Brisbane on Wednesday)

Labor's announcement triggered furious criticism from Israel, Jewish groups in Australia and the Opposition, all of whom accused them of playing into Hamas's hands by effectively 'rewarding terrorism'.

Israel's ambassador to Australia Amir Maimon unleashed on the decision, claiming 'peace is built by ending terror, not rewarding it'.

'By recognising a Palestinian state while Hamas continues to kill, kidnap and reject peace, Australia undermines Israel's security, derails hostage negotiations and hands a victory to those who oppose coexistence,' Mr Maimon said.

He added: 'Rewarding those who use terror as a political tool sends the dangerous message that violence brings political gains.'

'By recognising a Palestinian state now, Australia elevates the position of Hamas, a group it acknowledges as a terrorist organisation, while weakening the cause of those working to end violence and achieve genuine, lasting peace.'

Meanwhile, Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) president Daniel Aghion KC effectively predicted Yousef's response when he said: 'Hamas and other Islamist groups will see that barbarity on a grand scale can lead to desired political transformation.'

The current crisis in Gaza began when large numbers of Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, including storming the Nova music festival, on October 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking around 250 more hostage.

It represented the worst massacre of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust.

Australia has listed Hamas as a terrorist organisation since 2022.

Committed globalist Albanese announced the recognition of the Pally state anyway, following declarations by other leftist leaderships in France, the United Kingdom, Canada they too will rush to recognize a Palestinian state.

Another Hamas terrorist official, Hamas media director Ismail Al-Thawabta, told Australia's national broadcaster ABC, that the terror group applauded the Albanese government’s decision to recognise a Palestinian state, adding “while recognition has come late, better late than never”.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar mocked Albanese after the Hamas embrace of Australia’s new policy of appeasement for terror organizations.

He took to social media and noted the terror group now loves Labor Prime Minister Albanese.

Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel accused Albanese of being “detached from reality.”

Serious doubts have been raised about the faith Albanese is placing in the 89-year-old Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas (pictured), a serial promise-breaker

The alternative Pally leader Abbas promised Hamas will play no future role in the Palestinian state, free elections will be held, and that he will demilitarise.

Abbas, who has not faced an election since 2005 in the notoriously corrupt West Bank, has also promised to end 'pay to slay' rewards for terrorists and their families.

Jewish groups have pointed out that Abbas has a notorious track record of breaking promises.

'He has a record of repeatedly breaking commitments he has made in the past, including numerous unkept promises to hold Palestinian elections.'

'It's like taking the word of a teenager to clean his bedroom when it hasn't been cleaned in 20 years and he doesn't even have a broom."

'While Mahmoud Abbas says he's going to stop Hamas taking over a Palestinian state, Hamas is by far the most popular Palestinian party."

Abbas and the Palestinian Authority are 'irredeemably corrupt, and so hated by their own people that, as polls repeatedly show, any election would result in a Hamas victory'.

'The only thing now that is stopping Hamas from taking over the West Bank is the Israeli security presence there.'

'The Palestinian Authority has rejected every opportunity to achieve a two-state peace for the last 25 years.'

'It incites its population to hatred of Israel through every available medium, including education, and glorifies and financially incentivises terrorism.'

Sky News host Andrew Bolt suggested Prime Minister Anthony Albanese should admit that he is on the same side as Hamas.
