Muslim Doctor Removes Ovaries of British Women WIthout Their Knowledge or Consent

Patients scared of their gynaecologist medic who admitted removing ovaries without women's consent

Pressure is mounting on an Essex hospital after they stood by a gynaecologist who removed the ovaries from two women without their consent.

Dr Ali Shokouh-Amiri faced more than 100 allegations of misconduct against six patients while he worked at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey in 2017 and 2018.

He was deemed ‘fit to practice’ by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service despite admitting 24 of the charges which included performing multiple intimate examinations without a chaperone present.

The panel ruled that there was ‘no clinical indication’ for removing the ovaries from one of the women, and admitted that his 'serious misconduct’ had the ‘potential to affect the public’s confidence in the profession’.

Southend Hospital, where he now works, insists it has 'full confidence' in the gynaecologist to provide 'safe, high-quality care to our patients'.

But 14,000 people have signed a petition started by worried patients demanding he be struck off.

‘It's made me scared to have him as my doctor,’ patient Erin Craig told ITV News Anglia.

‘I've said I don't want him as my doctor now but that's going to put me back on the waiting list to get another appointment.’

The decision was made on Dr Ali Shokouh-Amiri by a tribunal after he admitted 24 instances of inappropriate behaviour, out of more than 100 allegations

The allegations which were admitted to be true include that Dr Shokouh-Amiri removed the ovaries of Patient C and Patient D without consent, with 'no clinical indication' for the removal of Patient D's ovaries

More than 70 of the allegations related to sexually motivated conduct, and the gynaecologist admitted allegations that he touched one patient's clitoris, kissed and hugged another patient on two occasions, rubbed or touched a third patient's leg

Despite these findings, the tribunal ruled there is a 'low risk of Dr Shokouh-Amiri putting patients at a risk of unwarranted harm' and gave him a warning.

The petition, launched by Mollie Randall, said: 'The General Medical Council (GMC) states that as healthcare professionals, doctors are expected to receive informed consent from the patient before starting treatment or physical investigation, or providing personal care.

'Dr Shokouh-Amiri's non-consensual removal of a young girl's ovaries is a clear violation of this professional rule – causing harm not just physically, but emotionally as well.

'Additionally, the GMC also mandates a doctor to protect patients from harm and abuse, another regulation Dr Shokouh-Amiri has transgressed.

'It's time for us to unite against this abuse of power and demand justice for his victims.

'He should be stripped of his medical license, held accountable for his actions, and his name should be included in the sex offender's registry for safeguarding the community.

'We need to stand up for the victims and ensure that our community remains a safe place for them to seek healthcare services.

'Let's call on our local and national health officials to take immediate, corrective action.

'Sign this petition and help revoke Dr Ali Shokouh-Amiri's license for practicing medicine ensuring he is duly punished for his grave misconduct.'

Mongol Troops Spread the Black Death to Europe in the 1300s

The Black Death was spread by Mongol troops in the Middle East a century before it wiped out half of Britons in the 1300s

Many believed it was a judgement from God - millions dead as punishment for the sins of mankind.

In Britain alone, the Black Death wiped out up to half of the population when it struck between 1348 and 1350.

But now, new research has found that the plague may actually have been present in Western Asia a century before it devastated Europe.

A study in the journal Medical History suggests that the plague-causing bacteria Yersinia pestis was in the region in the 13th century.

Studies of chroniclers and physicians from the time shows evidence of outbreaks in places including Syria, Iraq and Egypt in the years following the Mongol conquest of Baghdad in 1258.

Mongol troops may have spread the infection, but the bacteria did not then have a way to travel beyond the immediate locales of outbreaks, meaning a pandemic did not occur.

Professor Nahyan Fancy from the University of Exeter and fellow researcher Dr Monica H. Green, an independent scholar, looked at more than a dozen pre-1348 chronicles, religious and medical texts from the region.

The Black Death is believed to have claimed its first victim in Britain in the summer of 1348. It spread slowly at first but then struck Exeter and later Bristol

Their work builds on a previous study that showed how contemporary observers were suggesting the new presence of a plague-like disease in western Asia in the second half of the 13th century.

The new study demonstrates by closely examining the symptoms described that this was likely caused by Yersinia pestis.

Professor Fancy said: 'In the thirteenth century, of course, there were no microscopes and no means to conceive of bacteria as the cause of disease.

'Rather, contemporary observers believed that epidemics were caused by "miasms", airborne effluvia that could arise from scenes of decay, like the sites of great battles.

'Observers linked outbreaks of plague in Syria, Iraq and Egypt up through 1260 to the Mongol conquest of Baghdad in 1258, where epidemic disease was reported even among the Mongol troops.'

She added: 'This is what we are calling the "prodrome" of the pandemic, in which the bacterium is present in the region but a full-blown pandemic has not started raging yet.'

Dr Green explained: 'We know now that the strains of Yersinia pestis that reached Europe in the fourteenth century are most closely related to those still found in Central Asian marmots.

'That core biological narrative prompts us to look for an importation mechanism. The troops' grain supplies in the 1250s could explain that. But what happened next?

'Because humans in the Middle Ages had no concept of microbes, we will never find bacteria mentioned in our written sources.

'But when a scribe reports "pestilence" and an infestation of fleas in his region more than 25 years before the Black Death, we need to pay attention.'

The Black Death is believed to have claimed its first victim in Britain in the summer of 1348. It spread slowly at first but then struck Exeter and later Bristol.

By December 1349, almost the entire British Isles were afflicted.

At the time, it was the worst natural disaster in European history.

It is estimated that in England alone the population of five to six million was reduced to around three million.

It was deemed by many to be a punishment from God for mankind's wickedness.

Rich and poor suffered equally. King Edward III's daughter Joan was one of the victims. The plague also claimed the life of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

In London, around 300 people died every day in the square mile. Each night, carts filled with piles of corpses made their way to the huge communal cemeteries outside the city walls.

William of Dene, a monk in Rochester, recorded: 'The plague carried off so vast a multitude of people of both sexes that nobody could be found who would bear the corpses to the grave.

'Parents carried their own children on their shoulders to the church and threw them in the common pit.

'From these pits such an appalling stench was given off that scarcely anyone dared even walk beside the cemeteries.'

Overall, as many as 25million people in Europe were killed.

The Black Death subsided in Britain by the end of 1350, but there were further sporadic outbreaks until the late 17th century.

Bubonic plague is the most common form of plague and is spread by the bite from an infected flea.

The infection spreads to immune glands called lymph nodes, causing them to become swollen and painful and may progress to open sores.

Plague is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Yersinia pestis, and can be contracted by humans and household animals if proper precautions are not taken.

Human-to-human transmission of bubonic plague is rare and is usually caught from animals.

Symptoms may include sudden onset of high fever, chills, headache, nausea and extreme pain and swelling of lymph nodes, occurring within two to seven days after exposure.

Precision Airstrike in Syria by USA forces Kills Senior Al Qaeda Operative

Trump says 'precision airstrike' in Syria killed senior al-Qaeda operative plotting to 'threaten America and our allies'

Donald Trump congratulated Central Command Forces on a 'precision airstrike' Sunday that killed a senior al-Qaeda operative who was plotting attacks to 'threaten America and our allies.'

The unidentified terrorist was a senior finance and logistics official in the terror organization Hurras al-Din (HaD), an Al-Qaeda affiliate. He was killed while traveling on a highway near the village of Batabo in northwest Syria.

Trump celebrated the airstrike and the soldiers who executed the mission on Monday with a post to Truth Social.

'US forces conducted a precision airstrike against a member of al-Qaeda in Syria this weekend. The terrorist leader was working with al-Qaeda across the region,' he wrote.

'Congratulations to CENTCOM Commander Gen. Michael Kurilla, and the US warfighters who dealt Justice to another Jihadi threatening America and our allies and partners.'

It was the second time in recent weeks that a member of Hurras al-Din has been taken out by CENTCOM.

Muhammad Salah al-Zabir, another senior operative with the al-Qaeda affiliate, was killed in a January 30 airstrike.

Hurras al-Din was founded in February 2018, according to US-based intelligence agency SITE.

The group had been fighting with Syrian rebels in an attempt to topple Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Since 2019, the United States has designated Hurras al-Din as a terrorist organization.

The group dissolved in January and only then did they confirm that they were affiliated with al-Qaeda.

The US government offers financial rewards for information leading to the capture of its members.

'We will continue to relentlessly pursue terrorists in order to defend our homeland, and US, allied, and partner personnel in the region,' CENTCOM General Michael Erik Kurilla said in a statement.

The two Hurras al-Din officials killed combines with an ISIS leader taken out in early February in what has been a successful month for Trump in taking down America's enemies.

DailyMail.com revealed that the air strike in Somalia killed an ISIS leader believed to be responsible for recruiting terrorists for operations in the West.

He was named as Ahmed Maeleminine, a senior ISIS recruiter, financer, and external operations leader.

Details of the Somalia operation were first revealed by Trump in late January, when he posted video of the strike on Somalia.

'These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies,' he posted on Truth Social.

'The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians.'
