Iran: World Leader in Execution of Females

How Iran became the world's WORST executioner of women

Tears wouldn't stop falling from Naghmeh Rajabi's face as she spoke of her aunt.

Engineering student Asfaneh Rajabi was just 22 when faceless grunts of Iran's Ayatollah regime raised their guns and shot her dead in 1981.

She was murdered for daring to challenge the political and religious orthodoxy that has plagued the nation since the Iranian revolution, her niece told the Daily Mail.

Though Asfaneh was initially arrested by the forces of Ruhollah Khomeini, then Iran's Supreme Leader, she managed to escape before she was eventually re-captured and executed.

But before this, her family saw she had been horrifically tortured, Naghmeh said.

The programme manager and activist said: 'My older sister says she remembers seeing her torture wounds after her spell in prison. She told me about everything Asfaneh went through.

'Her feet had become black, swollen, and oozing.'

Sadly, Iran's treatment of women has worsened dramatically since Asfaneh's death. Under the rule of Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the nation for the last 36 years, the number of women executed in Iran has dramatically soared.

The catalyst for this, dissidents say, is the increasing insecurity felt by the regime following mass protests against it in recent years - the most notable of which were the Mahsa Amini uprisings, which were ignited across the nation in 2022 following the unlawful death of a young woman who allegedly wore her hijab 'improperly'.

Since then, the number of women executed in Iran each year has more than doubled.

In 2022, 15 women were executed. In the first nine months of 2025, 38 have been killed, according to the National Council of Resistance in Iran (NCRI). Between July 30 and September 30, the regime executed 14 women - equivalent to one every four days.

October 10 is World Day against the Death Penalty, an event which will see groups across the world to petition states to abolish capital punishment.

Naghmeh told the Daily Mail that her family has consistently suffered under the Ayatollah regime.

Her other aunt, Zahra, suffered a similar fate. As a student at the School of Architecture of Tehran's Melli University, which was renamed to honour one of the Iranian Revolution's top figures, she became politically active against the regime.

After escaping the country, Zahra fled to Istanbul, Turkey, where she worked to help Iranian refugees in similar dire straits.

But in 1996, Iranian assassins murdered her in cold blood.

She said: 'I was actually 11 when Zahra was assassinated. I remember that. I was trying to sort of comprehend what was happening. I asked my family: "Why would anyone try to kill my auntie?"

'My family explained that she was a revolutionary and freedom fighter who fought for democracy, and that's why they killed her.'

Naghmeh said though she never got to meet her, she still thinks about Asfaneh: 'She was the youngest child. The stories I hear is that she was really lively. She would sing all the time, and joke around. She was just so positive, and kind and generous. I felt very connected.

'I've never met her, but every time I think about her I'm so moved by her bravery.'

Both of her aunts lie in her thoughts. 'I see a lot of lot of myself in them. They were lively, they were young, they were passionate about life', she said.

Asfaneh and Zahra are just two of the countless women who needlessly died at the hands of the state, and it is feared that many more will suffer the same fate.

The NCRI, which works in exile in France and Albania, says that women are largely executed for two reasons in Iran.

The first is drug trafficking. Under a broken economic system, and often forced by their husbands, impoverished women unable to make a living any other way are made to carry drugs across the nation.

Mafia-style networks that have alleged connections to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran's military, use these women to traffic their drugs.

When they are inevitably caught, they are handed death sentences.

The other is premeditated murder of a spouse. Under Iranian law, women are subject to their husbands' wills and are unable to divorce them.

As a result, the NCRI says, these women are forced to defend themselves in all too frequent instances of domestic violence.

But the Ayatollah regime has choked all citizens in Iran for decades, regardless of gender.

Safora Sadidi Mohammadi, a human rights activist working with the NCRI, told the Daily Mail that seven of her relatives, including her father, have been executed by the regime.

Safora, who has spent the last two decades working to stop the human rights crisis in Iran, was six years old when she lost her father, Sadredin Sadidi, in 1988, but only learned he had died two years later.

She told the Daily Mail: 'It was one of the heaviest burdens of my childhood, of course. It's a pain that never leaves you. It resurfaces with every announcement of another life-taking in Iran.

'I don't think you find any Iranians who have not lost one of their loved ones under this regime, and who have not suffered under this brutal dictatorship, this religious dictatorship of Iran.'

Her mother, wary of the lasting damage family trauma can have, told her that her father was simply away on a work trip.

'My mother tried to hide many things from me, but I understood that my father was very active. Both my parents were very active for human rights, and I think for my both families. But, of course, at that age, I did not understand very much.

'When we fled Iran, and when I grew older, I understood more about what happened in Iran, and why everything was like that.

'Khomeini, his name brought fear to my childhood. I felt he was the devil, even as a child. I understood that he's really a monster.

'I knew that my family had to flee Iran, and when we escaped, because I was only 6, my mother didn't want to tell me that my father had been executed.

'It took a while before she could finally tell me.'

She eventually learned that he had been badly tortured by the state.

Executions are up across the board in Iran.

According to the NCRI, 578 people were executed in 2022. In the first nine months of 2025, nearly 1,200 have been executed.

The UN has said the staggering escalation violates international human rights law.

Experts said: 'The sheer scale of executions in Iran is staggering and represents a grave violation of the right to life.

'With an average of more than nine hangings per day in recent weeks, Iran appears to be conducting executions at an industrial scale that defies all accepted standards of human rights protection.”

Both women said their connection to their long-dead families is what keep them going.

Naghmeh said: 'I think that's why I have such a big connection to it, even now, after all these years. My family and I left Iran and I could have just got on with my life like many people. But, I do feel a sense of responsibility.

'You carry the pain, especially if you can't express that outwardly. It also teaches you a lot about resilience, it teaches you a lot about bravery, about what's possible, about how fortunate you are, and always staying positive in times of difficulty.

'They're kind of my guiding light. I just look at these extraordinary people, the amazing people that are part of the Iranian resistance, and just say: if they can do it, if they can push through, if they can look the evil in the eye and fight with the way that they've done for godless how many years, then surely I can.

'There is just such a surge of executions now happening in Iran, which is just terrifying. The Iranian regime has been doing this since they came to power.

'You see it being repeated today. So many people get executed, they're just normal people like you and me, who want nothing but freedom and democracy and they're being robbed of that.

And Safora told the Daily Mail: 'I think a lot about, not only my father, but all these 120,000 who were the bravest in our country, intellectuals. Many of them had the very best opportunity to have good lives, but they sacrificed that for freedom and democracy.

'I think it's really worth it, you know? To give freedom to your people. In the future, history will ask what we did for the freedom of our country, and I want to be one of those who are making change.

'That was one of the reasons that I decided to become an activist; To devote my life, my time and my energy in this cause of freedom and democracy.

'This is what I want for the next generation of my country, to live in freedom, like we have here.'

Both also said they know in their heart of hearts that the Ayatollah regime won't last forever.

Safora said: 'Regime change by the Iranian people and their organized resistance is the only way that we can have a free and democratic Iran. The regime has never been so weak as it is today, and has never been as aggressive in executing the people. They are trying to carry out a silent massacre right now in Iran with these executions.'

Naghmeh added: 'The Iranian regime is at its weakest point. That is the reason why there's such a surge in executions. It's almost like a wounded animal.'

Iran's killing machine

A coalition of former ambassadors, MPs and senior religious leaders have issued a stark warning over what they describe as a 'massacre unfolding in plain sight' in Iran.

In a strongly worded letter, the signatories accuse the Iranian regime of ramping up executions as a brutal method of silencing dissent—with a staggering 1,200 people put to death so far this year, including 200 in September alone, marking the bloodiest month since the notorious 1988 prison killings.

Currently, there are more than 50 political prisoners on death row, including three women.

The letter urges the United Nations and democratic nations to intervene immediately, warning that inaction could pave the way for a chilling repeat of the mass executions that claimed an estimated 30,000 lives nearly four decades ago.

Jim Risch, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, tells the Daily Mail that the Iranian Regime's greatest fear is its own people, made clear as day by the number of executions. He emphasized sanction enforcement on Iran.

'Iran prioritizes terrorism over serving its citizens, and as a result, it has ramped up internal repression, once again making the Iranian people the first victims of the regime's destructive agenda,' said Risch.

A senior administration official, reacting to the letter and human rights abuses in Iran, said that they support the Iranian people's struggle against their government.

'The regime unjustly executes more people than any other country, persecutes members of religious and ethnic minority groups, and uses tactics like arbitrary arrest and torture, and other violations to intimidate political opponents and squash dissent,' they said.

Human rights watchdog Amnesty International reports that Iran now holds the title of having the highest number of executions per capita in the world.

In 2024 the group reported that Iran accounted for 64 per cent of all recorded executions worldwide. Iran recorded at least 972 executions that year, ranking it as the world's leading executioner after China among countries with publicly available data.

That same research shows that China carried out over 1,000 executions, Iran carried out around 972, followed by Saudi Arabia with approximately 345, Iraq with 63 and Yemen with 38.

The letter writes that on September 3, Amnesty International cautioned of history repeating itself with the 1988 massacre.

UN expert Professor Javaid Rehman characterized the mass executions as clear evidence of crimes against humanity and potential genocide.

Today, Iranian authorities are reportedly demolishing mass grave sites, seemingly attempting to eliminate traces of these historic abuses.

The letter is backed and signed by seventeen international dignitaries, including Ambassador Lincoln Bloomfield, a veteran US national security official, John Bercow, former Speaker of the UK House of Commons and Peter Altmaier, who served as Germany's Federal Minister for Economic Affairs.

The letter urges immediate international action, calling on UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk to speak out more forcefully against Iran's wave of executions.

The signatories also demand that democratic governments push for Iran's human rights abuses to be referred to the UN Security Council and that the regime's leaders face concrete consequences.

Victoria Coates, Vice President at the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy and former deputy national security advisor to President Trump, framed the letter as a grim vindication of longstanding concerns.

She described the regime in stark terms, saying it 'does not hesitate to ruthlessly eliminate any who dares disagree with them.'

'Given what the mullahs are willing to do to their own people with the means they have, there is an unacceptable risk they would use a nuclear weapon against the United States or Israel,' Coates said, warning of what could come in the future.

Leftist German Mayor Stabbed by Her Adopted African Immigrant Daughter

German mayor was stabbed by adopted daughter, 17

The newly elected mayor of a German town who was found at her home with stab wounds is believed to have been attacked by her teenage daughter, investigators said.

Iris Stalzer, 57, was voted in as the mayor of Herdecke on September 28 and is due to take office on November 1.

Police said emergency services were alerted shortly after midday on Tuesday by her daughter, who reported that Ms Stalzer had been seriously wounded outside her house in an attempted robbery.

Officers went to the house, where they found Ms Stalzer sitting in a chair with at least 13 stab wounds and determined that the attack appeared to have happened indoors.

She was flown to a hospital by helicopter, having suffered serious injuries, including a wound to her lung. Police said on Wednesday that she is now out of danger.

Investigators found two knives and clothing in the house, which are believed to have been used in the attack, and detained Ms Stalzer's 17-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son.

The evidence was found in her son's bedroom. Investigators also found that large blood stains appeared to have been removed before emergency services were called, though these were visible upon a deep inspection, according to Bild.

When questioned on Tuesday evening, Ms Stalzer pointed to her daughter as the suspect, police investigator Jens Rautenberg said.

There was no immediate information on the nature of the family conflict that preceded the stabbing.

Sources told Bild that the mother and daughter had an argument last summer, in which domestic violence and the use of a knife were mentioned.

Stalzer is also said to have had tensions with the son.

Mr Rautenberg declined to comment on a possible motive at a news conference in the nearby city of Hagen, saying that is still a matter for investigation.

Prosecutor Bernd Haldorn said he considers it a case of bodily harm, and that police and prosecutors at present intend to release the children and put them in the hands of the youth welfare office, which would decide on further measures while the investigation continues.

The attack on Ms Stalzer, which followed violence against other local politicians in Germany in recent years, drew swift condemnation from Chancellor Friedrich Merz and others. But investigators quickly determined on Tuesday that there was no sign of a political motive.

Herdecke is a town of about 23,000 people in western Germany's Ruhr region, between Hagen and Dortmund.

German mayor was tortured for hours by her adopted daughter, 17, who kept her in a basement and brutally stabbed her leaving her fighting for life

A police investigation has revealed horrific details of torture after the brutal stabbing of a German mayor left her fighting for her life.

Herdecke mayor Iris Stalzer was airlifted to hospital after police were called to her home on October 7, with officers discovering gruesome evidence of abuse believed to be at the hands of her 17-year-old adopted daughter.

Initial local reports had claimed that a gang of men had been responsible for Stalzer's condition, with her daughter calling emergency services claiming she was found bleeding out in their living room.

The mayor was taken to Bochum hospital, where Stalzer was found to have 13 stab wounds to the upper body as well as multiple hematomas and skull fractures.

Despite her extensive injuries, the SPD politician survived the ordeal and was questioned by police - revealing that her life-threating condition was caused by her own child.

She described how she was tortured by her daughter in the house's basement for hours, according to German outlet BILD.

This included being stabbed multiple times with two separate knives, having her head bashed and the use of a deodorant can and a lighter to scorch her hair and clothing.

When police investigated these claims they found one of the knives used in the attack in the backpack of Stalzer's 15-year-old adopted son. They also discovered bloodstained clothing believed to belong to her daughter.

Ms Stalzer was found slumped in an armchair in the house's living room, with investigators still unsure how the severely injured woman escaped the basement.

But forensics found clear attempts to remove blood and other evidence from around the armchair she collapsed in, suggesting that the area was cleaned.

Although a full motive remains unclear, local reports claim that over the summer there was a dispute between the mother and her children with domestic violence and the use of a knife being mentioned.

Police initially arrested both children but the pair have been released after the public prosecutor's office decided it would not pursue an attempted homicide charge, downgrading the crime to the German equivalent of grievous bodily harm.

Senior public prosecutor Bernd Haldorn said that the decision to classify it as a lesser offence was due to the daughter and her brother making the initial emergency call.

The 17-year-old's calling the emergency services is considered a 'resignation from the crime' and because neither child is considered at risk of fleeing, they will not be arrested.

The pair are currently in the care of the youth welfare office and the mayor appears to be recovering.

The Antisemitism of the Global Elites is still going strong! Jane Goodall another Antisemite Exposed!

In final interview, Jane Goodall said she wanted to send Netanyahu on a one-way trip to space

Others aboard her imaginary spaceship were Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Xi Jinping.

In one of her last interviews, renowned British primatologist Jane Goodall said that she wanted to send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with several other world leaders she disliked, on a one-way trip to space.

“There are people I don’t like. And I would like to put them on one of [Elon] Musk’s spaceships and send them all off to the planet he’s sure he’s going to discover,” Goodall said on Netflix’s “Famous Last Words: Dr. Jane Goodall,” which was filmed earlier this year and premiered following her death last week at 91.

When asked who she would like to see shipped off to space by the show’s host, Brad Falchuk, Goodall did not mince her words:

“Along with Musk, would be Trump, and some of Trump’s real supporters. And then I would put Putin in there, and I would put President Xi. I’d certainly put Netanyahu in there and his far-right government,” Goodall continued. “Put them all on that spaceship and send them off.”

Beyond her groundbreaking work researching chimpanzees, Goodall also emerged as one of the leading voices of the animal conservation movement. And in the later years of her life, she also turned her focus to advocating for human rights, including in Gaza.

In a statement issued during the International Day of Peace in 2024, Goodall called for an end to the “continuing conflict between Israel and Palestine which has resulted in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”

“Let us pray for the end of conflict, especially the genocide of the people of Gaza,” wrote Goodall. “And for those risking their lives to help the wounded and feed the hungry and care for the animals suffering as a result of human violence, cruelty and war.”

'Genocide in Gaza keeps me up at night'

In April, Goodall also used her address at the Starmus science festival in La Palma, Spain, to place Gaza on a list of situations that distressed her.

“The genocide in Gaza keeps me up at night,” Goodall said in her address according to Spanish radio station SER. “The terrible war in Ukraine; there are conflicts all over the world. In Sudan, there is a true humanitarian crisis, and I think the only reason I have hope is because I lived through the Second World War.”

At the conclusion of her Netflix interview, Goodall addressed the camera directly and called on her audience not to lose hope.

“Don’t give up. There is a future for you. Do your best while you’re still on this beautiful Planet Earth that I look down upon from where I am now,” said Goodall.
