Escape from Egypt - Used panties belonging to Hitler’s gal pal sold at auction

Used panties belonging to Hitler’s gal pal sold at auction

There will be a Führer over this one!
A pair of Eva Braun’s pink panties, a stained nightgown and a piece of Nazi jewelry have been sold by a British auction house.
Humbert & Ellis Auctioneers offloaded the silk briefs from Adolf Hitler’s gal pal for $4,619 to an unknown telephone bidder, according to a news release.
“There continues to be a perennial interest in personal artefacts from such notorious high level WWII figures and accordingly such items, even without provenance, command high prices,” auctioneer Jonathan Humbert said in the release.
The vintage undergarments bear Braun’s monogram and came from a “significant” private European WWII collection, similar to a pair that sold in 2016, the news release said.

The same bidder also bought a stained, white cotton nightgown, also believed to have belonged to Braun, for $3,245. It is a nightshirt of plain A-line form with a frilled upper border bearing Braun’s monogram.

A gold-plated bracelet complete with a swastika, set with white and red stones, was sold for $2,308. The locket on the bracelet is engraved to “Emmy Göring Weinachten 1938,” the wife of powerful Nazi Hermann Göring — and opens to reveal a picture of Hitler.
Braun was Hitler’s longtime girlfriend and married him 40 hours before they killed themselves together in his bunker. His suicide note was estimated to fetch $80,000 at an auction earlier this year.
Hitler’s boxers went up for auction in 2017 with a signed copy of “Mein Kampf.”
