Radical Forces Trying to Destroy Western Civilization

Radical Forces ‘Seeking to Destroy Western Civilization’

Urging conservatives to stand united in defense of national sovereignty and shared Judeo-Christian values, Israeli Member of Knesset Ariel Kallner defended his country’s war goals and slammed pro-Hamas sentiment in the West, as he joined other conservative leaders in calling for unity against radical threats seeking to “destroy Western civilization.”

On Thursday, Kallner — a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud Party — spoke with Breitbart News on the sidelines of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Hungary, praising the Central European nation as a steadfast ally and condemning European leaders who “stand with the most brutal enemies of humanity.”

“CPAC are our friends. We share the same values, protect the sovereignties of our nations, and stand together against the forces that aim to destroy our nations and our values,” Kallner stated.

When asked about recent criticism of Israel from within the European Union, including moves to reevaluate trade ties during wartime, Kallner was blunt.

“These are not moral views; they are not on the right side of history,” he stated, warning that “the West is next,” referencing Islamist threats to Europe.

Kallner framed Israel’s current conflict as part of a larger civilizational clash, urging Western leaders to recognize the stakes.

“[Islamist cleric] Yusuf al Qaradawi used to say, ‘First we’ll conquer Constantinople, then we’ll conquer Rome,’” he said.

The Likud MK also addressed growing speculation about a potential temporary ceasefire in Gaza for a limited hostage deal. While expressing support for returning Israeli citizens, Kallner reiterated the government’s broader objectives.

“We are committed to destroying Hamas — this evil organization — and to make Gaza a better place to live,” he said. “The only deal that should be is that Hamas will release our hostages, and we will let its leaders relocate to any other place in the world. No other deals, and no releasing murderers,” he said.

Kallner’s remarks come as conservatives across Europe continue to rally around Israel in its war against Hamas, with Hungary among the few EU countries openly backing Jerusalem’s position against the International Court’s ruling.

Israeli Minister Slams EU’s ‘Useful Idiots’ for ‘Surrendering’ to Muslim Brotherhood, Warns Jews to ‘Leave UK, Belgium’

European governments are “surrendering to the Muslim Brotherhood” thanks to the “useful idiots” leading them, according to Israel’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, who urged Jews to flee countries like England and Belgium amid growing safety concerns, rising hostility toward Israel, and an intensifying Islamist threat.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on the sidelines of CPAC Hungary, Israeli Knesset Member Amichai Chikli — a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud Party — delivered a scathing critique of several European leaders for their appeasement of Islamist movements at the expense of their own national security.

“They lack an understanding of reality, they lack courage, and they lack vision,” Chikli said, referencing French President Emmanuel Macron, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and others, as he slammed “leaders who surrender to Muslim Brotherhood pressure, on Al Jazeera, to the leaders in the mosques and the network’s NGOs.”

He described their conduct as a calculated effort to “appease” Muslim voters by adopting anti-Israel positions, consolidate political power, and curry favor with Islamist elements in their societies.

His comments came in the wake of multiple European countries — including France, Spain, and Ireland — taking public steps against Israel in recent weeks, moves that Hamas itself has welcomed.

According to Chikli, this conduct amounts to an abandonment of Western values and a capitulation to radical Islamic influence.

“Hamas, the Islamic resistance movement, is the Muslim Brotherhood branch in Gaza,” he noted. “The enemy of France is the Muslim Brotherhood in France. The enemy of Spain and of Germany is the [infrastructure] of the Muslim Brotherhood entrenched within the state.”

The Israeli lawmaker cited the recent internal French government explosive report exposing the Brotherhood’s infiltration of civil institutions. The report alleges that the Islamist network embarked upon a decades-long effort to forge a fifth column in France and across Europe through establishing footholds within government institutions and radicalizing Muslim communities, while veiling their true intentions with supposedly noble causes such as fighting “Islamophobia.”

“This is a damning report showing how the movement exploits democratic freedoms in order to infiltrate schools, unions, and NGOs, in order to ultimately conquer France from within,” Chikli said.

In a stark warning, he singled out the United Kingdom and Belgium as potentially lost causes.

“I’m not sure about the future of England or Belgium. I’m not sure that they can recover,” he cautioned. “My recommendation for Jews is to leave England and Belgium.”

“I don’t see in the near future any way to secure Jewish life in states that have surrendered to Muslim fanaticism,” he added. “Unfortunately, leaders like Macron are steering their own republic toward disaster.”

Chikli slammed the “reckless statements” of Macron, Sánchez, and “the other useful idiots,” whom he described as “the new torchbearers of the Palestinian resistance movement,” while emphasizing that Israel would not yield to international pressure or false moral equivalence.

“We will never surrender to the Muslim Brotherhood. We will never surrender to Hamas. Hamas will be defeated,” he said, citing the recent elimination of senior Hamas commander Mohamed Sinwar as evidence of Israel’s progress.

Chikli concluded with a broader warning to the West, declaring, “We are on the path to victory — and defeating Hamas is not only crucial for the State of Israel, but essential for the future of Europe as well.”

His remarks underscore growing tensions between Israel and several European states, while highlighting CPAC Hungary as a platform for unfiltered conservative viewpoints on global security, sovereignty, and the preservation of Western civilization.

In February, Chikli, praised President Donald Trump’s proposal for the United States to take control of the Gaza strip, resettle its population, and rebuild it into a thriving economic hub, calling it a “bold,” “outside the box,” and “credible” shift away from past failed peace strategies.

Previously, the Israeli minister lamented the Biden administration’s continuous pressure against Israel while insisting that then-President Biden’s appeasement of Tehran and removal of sanctions was a “tragic mistake” that allowed for Hamas and other Iranian proxy groups to obtain more weapons and destabilize the Middle East.

Pakistan: Ban on Child-Marriage is Un-Islamic

Ban on child marriage is deemed 'un-Islamic' by Pakistan's religious leaders

A new law banning child marriage in Pakistan has been criticised by a prominent council for being 'un-Islamic'.

Pakistan's government last week passed the Child Marriage Restraint Bill, which aims to put an end to minors being forced into marriages and cohabitation with adults.

The legislation, set to be signed into effect by President Asif Ali Zardari, will see adults found to be cohabiting with minors punished by up to seven years in a prison and a fine of one million rupees (£2,663) on charges of statutory rape.

It is set to roll out in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, with hopes that other parts of the country will introduce the law in short order.

But Pakistan's Council of Islamic Ideology - a prominent body that advises the government of the Muslim majority nation 'whether or not a certain law is repugnant to Islam' - has opposed the bill.

The council said in a statement published Tuesday: 'Declaring marriage below the age of eighteen as child abuse and prescribing punishments for it, and other controversial provisions, are not in line with Islamic injunctions.

'Overall, the Council rejected the bill. It also clarified that this bill was not sent to the Council for review by the Parliament or the Senate.

'Marriage should be protected from unnecessary legal complications, and a public awareness campaign in this regard could prove more effective,' it argued.

The bill was passed after several female politicians who were married off as minors shared their personal support.

Pakistan ranks among the top 10 countries with the highest absolute number of women who were married before the age of 18 - more than 20 million.

Data compiled by activist group Girls Not Brides and Pakistan's National Institute of Population Studies suggest nearly 1 in 5 women in Pakistan (18%) are married before the age of 18, and 4% before the age of 15.

Researchers and activists point to a range of factors contributing to Pakistan's soaring child marriage rate, including religion, long-entrenched societal and gender norms, and rampant poverty.

Sherry Rehman, a senator who tabled the bill after MP Sharmila Farooqi introduced it in Pakistan's National Assembly, said the new legislation will 'send a powerful message'.

'It's a very important signal to the country, to our development partners, and to women that their rights are protected at the top.'

Naseema Ehsan, 50, told the Senate: 'I got married at 13 years old and I want child marriage to be banned.

'I was lucky to have good and affluent in-laws but most Pakistani women are not so lucky. Not every child has a supportive husband like me.'

The bill's text pointed out that research had 'invariably proved' that child marriage 'is harmful to both genders and especially girls who have hit puberty and are able to bear children'.

Ehsan added: 'I've never been so content to vote for a bill as the child marriage restraint bill,' in comments to The Guardian.

'The world has changed and developed. We have progressed and we must embrace the progress… It was a very much needed bill.'

Pakistan in 2010 devolved much political power to regional governments, entrusting provinces to draft and enact many of their own laws.

The regional government in the Pakistani province of Sindh passed a Marriage Restraint Act back in 2013 that outlawed marriage under the age of 18, but it remains the only province to have done so.

It is hoped that the new legislation set to come into effect across the Islamabad Capital Territory will lead to the measure being adopted throughout the country.

Nadeem Afzal Chan, a member of the Pakistan People's Party, said the government in Balochistan province would soon follow suit.

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also drafted a child marriage restriction bill, though it is yet to be passed.

Pakistan has committed to ending child, early and forced marriage by 2030 in line with the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations.

But underage marriage is still rampant, particularly in rural areas of Pakistan.

The CII is seen as one of the most influential and prominent bodies preventing politicians from taking action.

A recently published article in Pakistani outlet Dawn described theological authorities as 'self-appointed custodians of belief and convention' that 'reject empowerment, making it difficult for political parties to criticise child marriage, forced conversions and other atrocities in their party manifestos and poll campaigns'.

'The deeply patriarchal undercurrents of our sociopolitical setting, too, have kept politicians from stressing on the need to abandon laws that validate child abuse as well as allow adults to coerce young girls into illegal unions,' it read.

New Zealand Abandons Jacinda Ardern''s Ban on Oil and Gas

New Zealand abandons Jacinda Ardern's ban on oil and gas drilling after she declared that the world had moved on from fossil fuels

New Zealand has done away with its net zero policy by overturning an oil and gas drilling ban in a shock move many hope Australia will replicate.

The New Zealand government unveiled the plans in its latest budget, which was delivered earlier this week and provided for a $200m investment in new offshore gas fields.

This decision reverses a 2018 ban on new offshore oil exploration permits introduced by former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who had promoted it as part of her plan for a carbon-neutral future.

Ardern's 2018 decision came despite New Zealand discovering billions of cubic metres of natural gas offshore.

'The world has moved on from fossil fuels,' Ardern proclaimed at the time.

New Zealand's energy minister, Shane Jones, said Ardern's ban had been a disaster.

'We are feeling the pain of constrained supply. The government is not prepared to sit on the sidelines and watch our industrial and manufacturing dwindle because of energy security concerns,' he said.

'We are focused on growing the New Zealand economy, creating jobs and increasing prosperity and resilience. Natural gas will continue to be critical in delivering secure and affordable energy for New Zealanders for at least the next 20 years.'

Australian Nationals Senator Matt Canavan (pictured) has embraced New Zealand's move to abandon net zero, urging Australia to follow suit: 'Why do we remain committed to this madness?'

Nationals senator Matt Canavan took to social media on Friday to question why Australia has not yet done away with its own plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

'New Zealand just dropped net zero,' he wrote in a post to social media.

'Why do we remain committed to this madness?'

Canavan, who mounted an unsuccessful challenge to topple David Littleproud for the National Party's top post earlier this month, told Sky News on Sunday he hoped to convince his party to abandon its support for net zero.

'I didn't really run to become leader, I ran to end our ridiculous support of this crazy idea of net zero,' he said.

'Now, obviously, that fight continues; I haven't quite got there yet, but I had good conversations with my colleagues about that.

'I'm sure there will be a reflection on that policy at some point while we're in Opposition here.'
