Pennsylvania Republican Senate hopeful Dr. Mehmet Oz compared Philadelphia's homeless to 'zombies' during a campaign appearance Monday night in suburban Pittsburgh.

'Go down to downtown Philadelphia. I see a little bit in Pittsburgh now too, but more in Philadelphia. There are whole blocks, like multiple blocks and areas. You can't go. There are addicts walking like zombies into the street with needles sticking out of their necks,' Oz told a crowd in Monroeville. 

The Pennsylvania Senate race is one of the most pivotal in the country - but has also become one of the most colorful, with the former television personality running against the cartoonishly tall, bald and tattooed Fetterman. 

Fetterman supported Sen. Bernie Sanders during the 2016 Democratic primary over Hillary Clinton.

Oz launched a website entitled 'Inmates for Fetterman,' which highlighted the lieutenant governor talking about reducing the prison population by one-third

I have no problem with his very accurate description. As a recovered addict from a very long line of addicts, I chose to get help. There is more help than EVER available to these zombies.
