Sweet 'n Spicy Glazed Meatloaf

Ingredients
500 grams ground beef
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 slice of crustless bread, crumbled
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Italian herbs*
Salt and pepper
* Sold at Meatland. If unavailable combine dried herbs like oregano, thyme, parsley, and basil as an alternative.
For the Sauce
3 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons fish-free Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Directions
1: Combine ingredients for the meatloaf and shape it into a loaf measuring approximately 20 cm by 8 cm.
2: Place loaf into a baking dish that is large enough to fit it without it touching the sides.
3: Mix ingredients for the sauce together and spread over the top and sides allowing it to trickle down.
4: Bake uncovered at 160 C for 30 minutes then pour a little water around the loaf - don't wash off the sauce - to prevent it scorching and to help make gravy later. Don't add too much as you can always add more if needed.
5: Bake for a further 30 minutes, basting once with the juices from the pan, then slice and serve with gravy spooned over each serving, alongside mashed potatoes and vegetables.
