South Africa: Newborn baby dumped in
Vanderbijlpark
The body of a newborn baby boy was found
in a rubbish bin outside a home in Vanderbijlpark on Wednesday.

“On closer inspection, medics found the
body of a newborn baby boy wrapped in two plastic bags and a sack, lying in the
refuse bin,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring confirmed.
“Unfortunately, the baby had been dead
for some time. Nothing more could be done by paramedics.”
Meiring added local authorities were on
the scene for further investigations.
