South Africa: Farm murder, farmer shot, wife severely assaulted tied up, Schoemanskloof
A farm murder took place on Tuesday 31 May 2022, at 21:00, on the farm Koedoeshoop in Schoemanskloof in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. A farmer was shot dead at his back door after attackers knocked and the man opened the door.
It is unclear at this stage but it appears that he was shot through the security gate.
The attackers then gained entry to the house and severely assaulted the man’s wife and tied her up.
The woman only managed to free herself the following morning, Wednesday 1 June 2022 and call for help.
The woman who suffered extensive injuries was admitted to hospital in Nelspruit.
The police are investigating but there have been no arrets.
