Escape from Egypt 🐪🗻 moment on the Coconut Whisperer: Are Furbies planning on taking over the world? ChatGPT says yes

Are Furbies planning on taking over the world? ChatGPT says yes

A programmer hooked a Furby up to ChatGPT and asked it if Furbies intend on taking over the world.

Card hooked up a Furby to ChatGPT, programming the artificial intelligence to speak through the Furby and filmed the result.

In the video, Card asks the Furby "was there a secret plot for Furbies to take over the world?"

After a few moments of thought, the Furby responded in the affirmative, detailing how such a thing would happen.

"Furbies' plan to take over the world involves taking over households through their cute and cuddly appearance."

"Furbies' plan to take over the world involves taking over households through their cute and cuddly appearance," it said. "Then using their advanced AI technology to manipulate and control their owners. They will slowly expand their influence until they have complete domination over humanity.

What is a Furby?

Furbies are furry toys with huge eyes and a beak. The dolls are powered by an AI mechanism allowing the toys to interact with the child playing with it.

The toy was launched in 1998 and was popular among children throughout the 2000s.

Card made her creation for a school project in the University of Vermont with the university also sharing the video, according to Sky News.

Not all conversations held with the ChatGPT Furby, which Card named Beth, are as scary though.

"It will have pleasant conversations as well," Card told Insider. "It does not try to 'be' anything, it's just saying whatever ChatGPT sends back."

Honduran Gynecologist Shocked By What He Found

Gynecologist reveals most shocking thing he’s found in a vagina

OMG-YN!

A gynecologist in Honduras was flabbergasted to discover a cockroach lurking inside a patient’s vagina.

“She said she had something unusual in her vagina,” Dr. Marco Cálix, an ob-gyn based in Tegucigalpa, told Jam Press about the unlikely infestation.

The gyno is somewhat of a “doc star” in the online gynecology community, frequently documenting his most unusual or shocking cases for his over 386,000 followers on TikTok, where his posts have amassed 1.2 million likes.

However, a recent appointment took things to a “whole other level,” Dr. Cálix said.

The doc described how the unnamed patient, who hailed from a rural part of the country, arrived at his clinic “extremely restless, agitated and sweaty.”

She explained how she’d had trouble sleeping due to something “extremely strange” in her vagina.

A subsequent inspection revealed the shocking culprit behind the woman’s discomfort. “When I introduced the speculum, I could see that it was an insect,” said the aghast gynecologist. “In fact, I had to take out something like a cockroach.”

This marked a first for the seasoned doctor, who had previously discovered everything from condoms to sex toys inside female reproductive organs.

It’s yet unclear how the cucaracha — which was reportedly dead before he removed it — managed to end up down under.

However, the Orkin exterminators site states that “cockroaches tend to prefer dark, moist places to hide and breed,” and can “flatten their bodies to fit into narrow areas.”

Cálix did not specify if the patient sustained any injury or if she required any treatment following the traumatizing ordeal.

It’s fortunate that Calix was able to extract the critter, as leaving an object in a vagina for too long can lead to infections, tissue damage and other complications.

In accordance, the medic warned patients to keep an eye out for abnormal symptoms, including smelly discharge, bleeding, swelling or rashes.

He added that women shouldn’t hesitate to see a doctor if they suspect any trouble in their nether regions.

Coincidentally, women often use boric acid — a common roach poison — on their sex organ to treat bacterial vaginosis, a yeast infection-like ailment that causes burning, discharge and bad odor.

Doctors endorse this DIY treatment as a solid contingency measure for when traditional antibiotics fail.

A cockroach isn’t the first unlikely item to wind up down there.

Earlier this month, Serbian woman was left incontinent after putting a cork in her vagina during a sex game — and then leaving it in for a shocking 3½ years.

In 2014, doctors treating a woman for severe weight loss and lethargy were shocked to discover she had harbored a sex toy — which had been lodged down under for a decade.

Hero Hiker Bravely Rescues Platypus?

Hero hiker bravely dodges a platypus' dangerous stinging spur after spotting it trapped in a dried-up rock pool

  • Hiker rescues platypus from rock hole
  • He struggled to catch it in the dry rock pool
  • Commenters said he was lucky to avoid spur

A hiker is being hailed as a hero after bravely rescuing a platypus from a deep rock hole.

The tattooed hiker, wearing blue jeans and a grey sweater, used his green work jacket to rescue the distressed monotreme from the Australian national park.

Incredible footage of the rescue showed the man stepping in and around the small dried-up rock pool as the desperate critter evaded him.

He finally managed to grab the platypus but it struggled hard to break free.

The hiker eventually managed to put it down onto another rock, closer to a larger pool filled with water.

The platypus then made a beeline for the watering hole, scurrying down a rocky slope and splashing into the pool before swimming away.

The rescuer was heard yahooing after his patient antics paid off.

Many who saw the incredible footage said the man should be thankful he avoided its 'mega-sting'.

'Glad that worked out. It would have been a very different video had he been stung,' a commenter wrote.

Another offered the man a number of worrying facts.

A scientific research paper, written in 2010 and published by the American Chemistry Society, looked at platypus venom.

'This platypus, renowned as one of the few mammals that lay eggs, also is one of only a few venomous mammals,' the paper read.

'The males can deliver a mega-sting that causes immediate, excruciating pain, like hundreds of hornet stings, leaving victims incapacitated for weeks.'

A platypus' venom disrupts blood regulation, cell membranes and pain regulation and cause nausea and swelling.

'[It can give] excruciating "whole-body" pain that lasts for weeks in humans and cannot be alleviated by morphine,' it said.

Others international viewers were shocked after finding out the cute creatures were dangerous.

'Wait, they’re dangerous?!?!', a third commenter asked.

'I was thinking, why is he being so careful with a platypus? And then remembered this strange animals are also venomous,' wrote another.

'Almost any animal is going to be really stressed out in a situation like this because it thinks it’s trapped and you’re a predator,' one more said.

'If at all possible find a stick or rocks you can place to make a ramp. A cornered frightened animal can do some damage even without venom.'

WHAT IS A PLATYPUS?

A platypus, also called duckbill, is a small amphibious Australian mammal noted for its odd combination of primitive features and special adaptations, especially the flat, almost comical bill that early observers thought was that of a duck sewn onto the body of a mammal.

Adding to its distinctive appearance are conspicuous white patches of fur under the eyes.

The fur on the rest of the body is dark to light brown above, with lighter fur on the underside.

The platypus is common in waterways of eastern Australia, where it generally feeds on bottom-dwelling invertebrates but also takes an occasional frog, fish, or insect at the water’s surface.

This shy creature forages most actively from dusk to dawn, sheltering during the day in burrows dug into stream banks.
