Ramming Attack While Shouting Allahu Akbar on French Island

A driver ploughed into a crowd of pedestrians on a French holiday island this morning, leaving at least five people injured before screaming 'Allahu Akbar' as he was arrested.

The car veered towards walkers and cyclists at about 8.45am today as the 35-year-old attacker attempted to hit 'everyone he encountered' on the island of Oléron off the West coast of France, officials say.

After the ramming, he tried to set fire to his vehicle, which contained gas cylinders, before he was tasered by police and arrested.

At least five are injured, two of them seriously, including an assistant to MP Pascal Markowsky of the conservative National Rally party. Initial reports suggested ten had been hurt in the attack.

French terror police and President Emmanuel Macron, who is on his way to Brazil, are monitoring the situation.

The horrific attack unfolded between the villages of Dolus-d'Oléron and Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron. The idyllic island is a top holiday destination for French and international tourists.

Witnesses described horrific scenes with one woman seen lying motionless on the ground.

According to officials, the driver deliberately steered his vehicle toward pedestrians and a cyclist. A source said he hit victims across several miles as he drove along. The injured are said to be between the ages of 21 and 69 and are from the area.

Thibault Brechkoff, the mayor of Dolus-d'Oleron, told BFMTV that the man shouted 'Allahu Akbar' during his arrest. He also said the man tried to hit 'everyone he could encounter'.

The incident took place at around 8.45 a.m. on Wednesday between the villages of Dolus-d'Oléron and Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron in the Charente-Maritime region

Police are said to have taken the suspect to the Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron police station for questioning. He is expected to be transferred to a more secure gendarmerie on the mainland.

Pascal Markowsky, the National Rally MP for Charente-Maritime, has confirmed that one of his aides - named as Emma, 21 - was seriously injured during the attack. She suffered multiple fractures and a head injury and was airlifted to a hospital in Poitiers.

Markowsky told BFMTV that she 'lost consciousness instantly' after being struck. She regained consciousness and gave her name to responders before being hospitalised, he said.

Isabelle Romain, a local, who witnessed the harrowing incident, said she saw a 'woman lying on her stomach, who was no longer moving and was in an unnatural position.' She added: 'I deduced that she was dead.'

She said the victim, who is from 'a very well-known family' later moved and was airlifted to the hospital.

A resident is reported to have said: 'An individual in a vehicle is hitting people in his path, and right here in my window, a pedestrian was hit and injured in Saint Pierre d’Oléron.'

According to traffic information from Info Traffic 17, a first incident, which involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, occurred near the Intermarché supermarket in Dolus-d'Oléron.

A second, involving a pedestrian, happened on Route du Treuil, in the same town. The driver is said to have hit a cyclist.

A shopkeeper said she kept her customers in place for two hours as a precaution when she noticed 'very strong police presence' around 15 minutes after the attacks.

On X, the Minister of the Interior, Laurent Nuñez wrote: 'This morning, a driver struck several pedestrians and cyclists in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron and Dolus-d'Oléron.

'Two victims are in critical condition and three others were injured. The driver was apprehended by the police. An investigation is underway. At the request of the Prime Minister, I am going there.'

The president of the French National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, wrote on X: 'I want to send all my thoughts to the people injured this morning on the island of Oléron, victims of an attack of unprecedented violence.

'I also wish to express my solidarity with MP Pascal Markowsky and his parliamentary team, one of whose members is seriously injured.' She also thanked the police and emergency responders who worked at the scene.

The unspoiled Ile d'Oléron is one of the most beautiful in France, and hugely popular with holidaymakers from the UK.

It is the second largest island in France, after Corsica, and is 19miles in length and 5 miles wide.

Crisscrossed by cycle paths, Oléron features pine forests, dunes and sandy beaches, as well as numerous fishing ports.

It follows a series of bomb, gun and knife attacks carried out by Islamic State and al–Qaeda operatives across France, including ones involving vehicles being used as weapons.

Conservative commentators and politicians spoke out to decry the perpetrator, the attack, and to note in particular how Islamist terror has spread to even France profonde, the deepest and most picturesque parts of the country. Éric Zemmour, a essayist and polemicist-turned candidate for the French Presidency said with his characteristic style: “Just a few years ago, places like the Île d’Oléron were refuges for those who still wanted to live in a preserved France. Today, the situation is such that we see jihadists emerging everywhere in France.”

Jordan Bardella, the Parliamentary leader of the National Rally party which is has seen one of its employees critically injured, called for a strict punishment for the perpetrator of what he called “blind and deliberate violence”. His party colleague, MP Sébastien Chenu reflected that nowhere is safe from “this phenomenon” anymore and called on the state to fight the “Islamist hydra”.

He said: “The Islamist threat has never been stronger. This is a war that must be waged here and now. Our country has already paid a heavy price to Islamism”.

Iranian Gang Hires Norwegian Migrant Kids to Carry Out Contract Hits

Migrant children in Norway are being recruited by gangs and armed with GRENADES to carry out contract hits after failure to integrate leaves them vulnerable to criminals

Migrant children in Norway are being recruited by gangs and armed with grenades to carry out contract hits after a failure of integration left them vulnerable to criminal networks.

The minors are being recruited by Foxtrot, one of Europe's most notorious criminal networks whose leadership is based in Iran and acts on behalf of the Ayatollah's regime to target victims.

While the criminal syndicate originated in Sweden, it is now expanding across the border and wreaking havoc in Norway where teenagers - mostly from a migrant background - are hired as would-be assassins, according to MPs and invesigators.

On September 23, at 8.45pm, multiple grenades exploded outside a nail salon in Bislett, Oslo, shattering the windows and riddling its walls with shrapnel.

Police linked two 13-year-old boys to the attack and suspect that they were recruited via TikTok, supplied with the smuggled grenades, and paid 30,000 NOK (£2,000) to carry out the deed.

The Bislett explosion was only the beginning. Within weeks, two more Foxtrot-linked attacks followed.

On September 30, three boys aged 12, 13, and 14 were linked to a shooting incident in Sarpsborg. A week later, a 15-year-old linked was suspected of throwing a grenade at a sushi restaurant in Strømmen.

Because of a legal loophole in Scandinavia, children under the age of 15 cannot be held criminally responsible - making minors the ideal recruits for carrying out attacks on behalf of the Foxtrot crime ring.

The 'Foxtrot' network is understood to be run by Rawa Majid, also known as 'the Kurdish fox', who reportedly lives under the protection of the Ayatollah’s regime

Foxtrot emerged in Sweden at the end of the 2010s and is led by Rawa Majid, also known as the 'Kurdish Fox', who has been sanctioned by the UK for his role in attacks across Europe on behalf of the Iranian regime.

Majid, as head of the expanding criminal network, is understood to live under the protection of the Ayatollah and has been involved in violent plots, particularly against Jewish and Israeli targets.

In Norway, the syndicate is deliberately hiring children who are vulnerable to exploitation to carry out its crimes - whether that's due to their economic status or conditions at home.

One of the 13-year-old boys suspected of the Bislett explosion was previously taken into custody by child welfare services after his parents were charged with violence against him, VG reported.

Norwegian MPs have also linked the rise in child gang crime to a major increase in mass migration, arguing that many feel poorly integrated into society, making them to susceptible to manipulation by criminal networks such as Foxtrot.

'We have to be honest about something here: most of these kids have migration backgrounds,' Mahmoud Farahmand, an MP for the opposition Conservative party, told The Telegraph.

'The government has not been able to put up a formidable defence... they’ve become blind to the situation,' he said.

Lars Norbom, the secretary-general of the community support group Night Ravens, expressed the same sentiment, telling the newspaper: 'We have issues with cultural differences, and with social differences but most of all we have failed at integrating immigrants.'

Since the early 1990s, the number of immigrants living in Norway has risen from around 4 percent of the population to 16 percent in January 2024.

'Iran's brazen use of transnational criminal organisations and drug traffickers underscores the regime's efforts to achieve its goals by any means necessary, regardless of the cost to communities across Europe,' said U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

The U.S. believes the Foxtrot network was responsible for orchestrating a thwarted attack on the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, on behalf of Iran in January 2024.

A 'dangerous object' was located outside the building which police destroyed.

And in October last year, explosions were reported near the Israeli embassy in central Copenhagen, leading to police investigating potential connections to Iran.

The UK has subjected Foxtrot's leader, Majid, to a travel ban, an asset freeze and a director disqualification.

As well as being behind violent crimes, Foxtrot is also a prominent drug trafficking organisation and the biggest supplier of heroine in Sweden.

The gang has expanded its network of drug mules across Denmark and Norway where it has been linked to a significant increase in cocaine since Covid-19.

Anne Lindboe, the Mayor of Oslo, said drugs worth up to £570 milion have been smuggled through Norway’s largest port, which receives the equivalent of 243,000 20-ft-containers a year.

'The main driver of gang crime is drugs,' said Trygve Slagsvold Vedum, a member of the Centre Party who served as Minister of Finance between 2021 and 2025.

'That is why we must strengthen the customs service and control. We must have more customs officers and more scanners,' he told VG.

Norwegian police believe the children being recruited by Foxtrot to carry out the violent crimes are enticed via popular social media platforms.

'It appears that the original contact was established on TikTok,' police attorney Henrik Rådal told NRK in relation to the grenade attack in Bislett.

Residents in Strømmen have called for more measures to prevent further attacks, including more visible police presence on the streets and increased 'Night Ravens': volunteers who patrol communities at night to keep an eye out for young people who may have had too much to drink.

In July, a 34-year-old Swedish man was charged with threatening two employees at the police central detention centre in Grønland, Oslo.

He reportedly threatened to place a bomb at the home of one of the employees' family members.

According to NRK, he claimed that he was part of the criminal Foxtrot network.

But Foxtrot is but one of around 70 Swedish gangs operating in Norway, where teenagers are being anonymously hired on encrypted messaging apps such as Telegram.

They can be paid anywhere between £20,000 and £60,000 for a hit, using hand grenades or improvised explosives smuggled into the country.

Many don't even know who commissioned the crime, but are willing to carry it out for the right payment.

AI Being Used to Track Terrorist Financial Networks

Following the money: How AI can expose hidden Hezbollah, Hamas networks

Hezbollah and Hamas thrive on shadowy financial networks-charities, trade deals, crypto wallets. But every transaction leaves a trace and AI can spot the patterns no human ever could.

From the Middle East to Europe to Africa, the money trail is another front of the battle against terror. Terrorist organizations, such as Hezbollah and Hamas, bankrolled by Iran, move money invisibly through banks, trade networks, investments, cryptocurrencies, and even charities. Their financial pipelines are as dangerous as their physical weapons.

Two decades ago, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Egyptian cleric in exile in Qatar, showed how deep such systems could run. His ‘Union of Good’ coalition of charities raised millions for Hamas under the cover of legitimate operations. Across Europe, Africa, and the United States, charities became pipelines for terror.

Even after being banned by Israel and the United States, the networks simply rebranded, morphing into new entities with their infrastructure intact.

When charities came under scrutiny, funds were shifted to bank transfers and trade finance. When those channels tightened, drug trafficking became the next frontier, and eventually, cryptocurrencies picked up the slack. All these methods, layered on top of each other, created a global multidimensional ecosystem designed to sustain terrorism.Today, such flows are no longer invisible.

Unlike a suitcase of cash, every digital transfer leaves an electronic print. A wire transfer, a trade invoice, and a crypto wallet all create data points. Multiplied across billions of daily transactions, those points form patterns.

While traditional compliance systems for detecting them are triggered by rules and specific thresholds or red-flag indicators, they simply cannot keep pace, catching what they are told to look for and little else.

By the time a flag is raised, the money is long gone and has already been laundered through multiple jurisdictions, converted into weapons, salaries, and propaganda campaigns.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing that equation.

How AI identifies terror funds

Instead of chasing red flags, AI learns what “normal” looks like and flags what doesn't: a charity rounding donations in ways that make no sense; a shipment priced far below market value; a crypto wallet tied to Hezbollah. What no analyst can see across billions of transactions, AI can surface in real time.

Recent crackdowns on Hezbollah-linked operations in Paraguay and on the Ivory Coast illustrate the stakes. Those networks relied on the very playbook that Qaradawi helped to write, disguising illicit flows as legitimate commerce. But the digital trail was there, waiting to be uncovered.

When AI is brought into the fight, the patterns emerge early enough to be able to act before money is consolidated, weapons are purchased, or attacks are planned.

The lesson is stark. The data is already in the system. Every transaction, trade invoice, and crypto transfer leaves a digital trace, which only needs to be read intelligently.

This is no longer just about compliance. Financial institutions equipped with AI-driven monitoring aren’t just ticking regulatory boxes; they’re on the front lines of global security. They can disrupt terror financing before it turns into bloodshed, freezing assets before weapons are bought and loaded.

Terrorist networks thrive on opacity, and yet their very complexity now betrays them. Whenever they invent a new concealment method, they also create a new pattern. AI thrives on those patterns, turning complexity into clarity and deception into data intelligence.

AI alone will not end terrorism, but it can help expose and dismantle the financial infrastructure that sustains it. The issue is no longer the ability to spot Hamas and Hezbollah’s money trails.  The challenge now for governments and banks is the necessity of upgrading their systems before the next attack is financed.

Obama Praises Marxist Muslim Mayor of NewYork

Obama praises Mamdani, offers support ahead of NYC election

Former President Obama praises NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, known for his anti-Israel stance, calling his campaign “impressive.”

Former US President Barack Obama held a private phone call Saturday with New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, offering praise for his campaign and pledging to serve as a “sounding board” if Mamdani wins Tuesday’s election, the New York Times reported.

The roughly 30-minute conversation, not previously reported, was described by two individuals familiar with the call.

Obama expressed interest in Mamdani’s success beyond the election and discussed the challenges of staffing a new administration and implementing Mamdani’s affordability agenda. “Your campaign has been impressive to watch,” Obama told Mamdani, according to the sources.

While Obama has not formally endorsed Mamdani, consistent with his practice of avoiding municipal races, the call marks his second outreach since Mamdani’s primary victory over former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Mamdani thanked Obama for the call and said he drew inspiration from Obama’s speech on race for his own remarks on Islamophobia, according to the New York Times.

A spokeswoman for Obama declined to comment, while Mamdani’s campaign said he appreciated the conversation and Obama’s support for “a new kind of politics.”

Mamdani has faced criticism over his far-left positions and his anti-Israel stance. This includes his criticism of Israel on October 8, 2023 - just one day after the Hamas massacre in southern Israel, as well as his refusal to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada”.

He also recently declared that he would stop using the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA)’s working definition of antisemitism.

In addition, Mamdani has repeatedly accused Israel of war crimes in its battle against Hamas in Gaza, and has vowed to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits New York City, citing the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant issued against Netanyahu - even though the US is not a member of the ICC.

He has also come under fire after publicly campaigning with Brooklyn Imam Siraj Wahhaj, a figure named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

According to a Fox News poll released this past Thursday, Mamdani holds a 16-point lead among likely voters, with 47% support. Cuomo follows with 31%, while Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa trails at 15%.

A Quinnipiac University poll released one day earlier showed that Jewish voters overwhelmingly favor former Cuomo over Mamdani.

According to the survey, 60% of Jewish respondents support Cuomo, while only 16% support Mamdani. Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa received 12% support among Jews. The remaining respondents were either undecided, preferred another candidate, or declined to answer.

The poll also found that 75% of Jews hold an unfavorable view of Mamdani, compared to just 15% who view him favorably. Cuomo received a 39% favorable rating among Jews, with 50% viewing him unfavorably.
