South Africa: Farm murder, farmer (50) brutally murdered, Heilbron

A farm murder took place on the night of 29 September 2021, on the farm Holfontein, in the Heilbron area in the Free State province of South Africa. A farmer, Petrus Steyn (50) was overpowered and viscously assaulted by three attackers as he walked between his house and the farm store room.
At this stage it is unclear exactly what transpired but the safe was open and an unknown number of firearms are missing.
Mr. Petrus Steyn was brutally murdered by the three attackers.
All role players responded, tracks were followed that determined three attackers were involved.
There have been no arrests.
