U.S. Politics: While Navy Pushes DEI, 37% of Attack Subs Are Out of Order

While Navy Pushes DEI, 37% of Attack Subs Are Out of Order

If only the Navy could repair subs as quickly as its transgender teams castrate sailors.

July 17, 2023, by Daniel Greenfield, Front Page Magazine

On June 16, 2023, a date which will live in infamy, the Pearl Harbor base featured the story of Lt. Nick Grant, an “out gay cisgender man” who was a co-chair of the Naval Medical Force Pacific Transgender Care Team (NMFP TGCT).

The title of the Pride Month feature was “serving with pride”.

The Navy’s medical service, which can’t seem to do anything about active duty personnel killing themselves, has multiple “transgender care teams” for different regions composed of multiple specialists for different areas to “oversee and, in many cases, provide mental health, hormonal, and surgical interventions as needed to facilitate the gender transition process.”

There are some who say that the Navy ought to be focused on other things. Like getting its submarines to work. In the latest numbers, nearly 40% of attack subs are out of commission.

With only 31 subs operationally ready, the US Navy is more unready than ever to face off against the People’s Liberation Army Submarine Force of Communist China.

In 2017, 28% of submarines were out of commission. By 2022, it was 33%, and now it’s 37%. At the rate that the woke Naval brass are going, most subs will soon be out of order.

Under Biden, the number of operational nuclear powered attack subs has never gone above 33 out of 49. A third of our submarine attack fleet being out of order has become the new normal.

If only the Navy could repair subs as quickly as its transgender care teams castrate sailors.

As the U.S. Pacific Fleet (SUBPAC) commander responsible for 37 attack and ballistic missile submarines, Rear Admiral J.T. Jablon is “committed to broadening the diversity, equity, and inclusion of our Submarine Force”.

“Diverse representation without equity and inclusion degrades our readiness. Barriers to inclusion are the unconscious biases we carry without our awareness,” J.T. Jablon claimed in the official DEI statement. Everyone in the submarine fleet must be subjected to racial struggle sessions and political indoctrination, opportunities must be awarded based on race.

Not only hasn’t DEI improved readiness, but submarine readiness has drastically dropped.

“Diversity and inclusion are cornerstones of high organizational performance and mission effectiveness,” J.T. Jablon argued. The state of the submarine fleet proves otherwise.

The Navy is more diverse than ever. Pride Month is celebrated at American naval bases all across the Pacific. And even the most basic functions of the fleet are out of order.

When Biden nominated Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro, a Democrat fundraiser, the former contractor was supposed to untangle the supply chain issues. But his company, SBG, benefited from government contracts as a “minority-owned business and a service disabled veteran owned small business” and he’s shown no ability to fix the Navy’s problems.

Del Toro, who had served on the Naval Academy Alumni Association’s Special Commission on Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion to purge political dissent, announced that his focus would be on China, Culture, Climate, and COVID. The US Navy is going green and promised that, like California, it would reach “net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050”.

The Navy’s 2023 budget wastes $718 million on fighting global warming. That’s more than 10% of the $6.2 billion in maintenance costs for 151 Navy vessels. If the Navy focused as much on getting its vessels operational as it does on global warming, identity politics and other partisan leftist causes, we would have subs in the water and have nothing to fear from China.

Instead, China is laughing while the US Navy commits to “100 percent zero-emission vehicles by 2035” and “100 percent carbon pollution-free electricity” and has partly achieved its goal by having “37 percent zero-emission attack submarines” sitting and doing nothing.

“They have 13 shipyards, in some cases their shipyard has more capacity — one shipyard has more capacity than all of our shipyards combined. That presents a real threat,” Del Toro observed of China’s shipyards. We could have shipyards too, but they ‘emit’ things.

At a Naval diversity summit, Secretary Del Toro told senior leaders that, “in order to maintain our strategic edge, the Navy and Marine Corps team must operationalize innovative and cohesive initiatives, rooted in DEI’s goals.” Our strategic edge is blunted, the fleet is failing and our capabilities are falling behind China while our military operationalizes leftist political agendas.

Instead of working on vessels, the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard urges everyone to become an “ally” and consult “reputable sources like the Trevor Project, the Human Rights Campaign, and GLAAD.”

Meanwhile, a GAO report found that ‘steaming hours’ for Navy vessels had consistently decreased even as the DOD treated the number of the decreased as classified information. Navy officials responded to the maintenance backlogs, not by improving performance, but by trying to decommission and reduce the number of ships in the fleet to improve the numbers.

In 2019, more than half of the aircraft carriers were not ready to deploy. The US Navy is already badly backed up just repairing ships on routine deployments. In the event of a naval military conflict, another GAO report found that it would be absolutely overwhelmed.

The GAO report stated that the Navy “is in the early stages of determining how it will provide battle damage repair during a great power conflict.” The Navy has spent far more time thinking about how it will implement DEI programs and castration opportunities for sailors than it has how it will cope with repairing battle damage during a war.

The shipyards are not ready with “more than half the equipment at the shipyards is past its expected service life.” The submarines are not ready, with only 31 mission capable attack subs. And the fleet is not ready for a military conflict with a GAO report warning that “the Navy could handle a single battle damage event,” but they were “uncertain how the Navy might handle multiple simultaneous or near-simultaneous events”. But the DEI indoctrination is ready.

92% of ship fires may be going unreported, but Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday is on track with his true mission. “My goal is to put the Navy in a place over the next 20 years where we’re the most diverse service in the DoD,” Gilday told the State of the Navy.

China’s goal is to have the largest Navy in the world. After achieving that goal in 2020, it has kept on building and aims to have 400 vessels. But we will have the most diverse Navy. Our ships won’t work, but our struggle sessions will. We won’t win any wars except on ourselves.

The People’s Republic of China may take pride in ruling the seas, but we’ll take pride in Pride.

The fast-attack submarine Connecticut returns to the dry dock on July 12 following Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Washington, upgrades that officials say will allow the facility to better withstand a catastrophic earthquake. Connecticut grounded in the West Pacific in October 2021 and requires a raft of repairs, with officials hoping to see the elite boat return to operations in early 2026. (Navy)

Lisa Marie Presley Autopsy: Hazards of Weight Loss Surgery

Lisa Marie Presley's killer weight-loss surgery complication explained: How life-changing procedure can obstruct the bowel and cause it to rupture

  • Elvis Presley's daughter was rushed to hospital after going into cardiac arrest
  • The 54-year-old died from a small bowel obstruction due to weight loss surgery
Lisa Marie Presley died from an obstructed bowel caused by previous weight-loss surgery, it was revealed.
Elvis Presley's daughter, 54, was rushed to hospital on January 12 after going into cardiac arrest.
An LA County Coroner report confirmed the star died from a small bowel obstruction, which was a complication of going under the knife for weight loss surgery years earlier.

It's been revealed that Lisa Marie Presley died aged 54 in January from a small bowel obstruction caused by previous weight-loss surgery - with opioids found in her blood at the time of her death (pictured January 10 - two days before her death)

Ms Presley's small bowel obstruction is thought to have resulted in a strangulated small bowel, which can measure up to 30-feet.

The complication usually occurs when part of the intestine becomes trapped, cutting off blood supply.

Gangrene — a serious condition where a loss of blood supply causes body tissue to die — can develop in just six hours.

As a result, the intestinal wall can die, which can lead to a rupture.

This can see the contents of the bowels leak into the surrounding abdominal cavity, triggering an infection.

Consequentially, this can trigger sepsis — when the immune system overreacts to an infection and starts to damage the body's tissues and organs. Sepsis can be fatal and needs to be treated urgently.

In Ms Presley’s case, the strangulated bowel was caused by adhesions — areas of scar tissue that stick together, which can obstruct the gut.

The adhesions developed following a gastric bypass years earlier.

The weight-loss procedure, which costs up to £15,000 in the UK and $25,000 in the US, involves attaching the top part of the stomach to the small intestine, to reduce the number of calories the body absorbs from food and increasing feelings of fullness.

Around 6,600 Brits undergo bariatric surgery on the NHS each year, while 250,000 Americans go under the knife.

While the op can lead to significant weight loss over the course of a few years, it can trigger an array of complications — including the gut becoming blocked.

This can happen as a result scarring and reduced blood flow to the site of the operation, and lead to food getting stuck and the gut becoming kinked or twisted.

Sufferers may find it difficult to swallow, vomit regularly and have tummy pain.

Treatment may involve using a thin, flexible tube passed down the throat to widen or clear the blockage.

‘Botched’ doc Terry Dubrow issues Ozempic warning after Lisa Marie Presley autopsy

The price of Ozempic is already sky-high — but experts warn extreme weight loss could also cost your life.

Dr. Terry Dubrow, the mastermind plastic surgeon behind the hit series “Botched,” is slamming the drastic methods an increasing number of patients are risking to achieve drastic weight loss following the autopsy results for Lisa Marie Presley.

The late daughter of Elvis Presley died in January at the age of 54. It was revealed this week that she lost her life due to a small bowel obstruction after bariatric surgery.

Dubrow, 64, is now urging experts in the weight loss community to raise awareness of the dangers of weight loss treatments, such as Ozempic and bariatric surgery. In an exclusive interview with TMZ, he warned it could result in a deadly situation — especially when the treatments are combined.

Bariatric surgery can create scar tissue that can strangulate the intestines, and the case of Lisa Marie was a prime example, according to Dr. Dubrow, who has a unique viewpoint into the Hollywood realm as the husband of actress and reality TV star Heather Dubrow, 54, of “Real Housewives of Orange County” fame.

Other long-term risks associated with the procedure include hernias, gallstones, malnutrition, low blood sugar, ulcers acid reflux and dumping syndrome, which can cause diarrhea, flushing, vomiting and lightheadedness.

Oftentimes, Dubrow claimed, patients don’t lose enough weight with bariatric surgery alone and will turn to weight loss drugs like Ozempic to shed more pounds.

However, the drug, popularized in the last year by A-listers, can further slow bowels.

It’s a perfect storm: The combination of bariatric scarring, slowed intestines from weight loss drugs and opioids to mask the pain can prove to be a fatal concoction.

While there is no current evidence that Lisa Marie was taking an Ozempic-like weight loss drug after her procedure, Dubrow warned patients of the risks.

“If you’re going to go on the Ozempic-type drugs and you get intestinal pain, you get stomach bloating, you get pain, you drink alcohol with this, you’re predisposed to intestinal obstruction and pancreatitis,” the Hollywood doc told the outlet.

Ozempic has also been linked to a myriad of unwanted or unsightly side effects, such as excessive and putrid belchingdiarrhea and sagging skin. Most recently, patients reported that the Hollywood-hailed drug triggered suicidal thoughts.

Currently, three of Dubrow’s patients are hospitalized due to intestinal problems and pancreatitis linked with Ozempic use, he claimed — and they haven’t even gone under the knife yet.

“Nobody’s talking about this right now — but we need to talk about it,” he warned.

According to the LA County Coroner’s report released on Thursday, Lisa Marie had “therapeutic” levels of oxycodone in her system when she died, as well as Buprenorphine, an opioid used to treat addiction, and Quetiapine, an antipsychotic.

The autopsy noted that there was “no evidence of injury or foul play,” and that the “manner of death is deemed natural.”

World News: When defenders of Gaza terrorists and French rioters are strangely silent

When defenders of Gaza terrorists and French rioters are strangely silent

The defenders of Gaza and French revolts are silent on massacres of Christians - or blame them on climate change.

The West that feeds on Third Worldism, decolonization, the myth of banlieues and "Black Lives Matter" does not care about the genocide of Christians, indeed it even tries to deny it. For our NGOs, UN, media and governments, the killers do not shout "Allahu Akbar", but "we want a carbon free world".

But what about the last 150 Christians killed. "Some Christian victims were burned alive in their homes", refers the Motning Star.

Now a Nigerian bishop raises his voice condemning the Islamic persecution and “Western propaganda”. Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe of the diocese of Makurdi, Nigeria, said: “If you saw the video, you would cry. They came and slaughtered everyone”. “They say it's about climate change; this is not true,” he stated. Explaining that the goal of making Nigeria an Islamic state began in the 1980s, Anagbe said what is happening in the country today is a result of the program outlined then by Islamic leaders. “In 1989, there was the Abuja Declaration that Nigeria should be established as an Islamic state; this is what we are seeing today”.

Flowers lie on caskets during a funeral Mass in the the parish hall of St. Francis Xavier Church in Owo, Nigeria, June 17, 2022. The Mass was for some of the 40 victims killed in a June 5 attack by gunmen during Mass at the church. 52,250 people have been killed over the last 14 years in Nigeria only for being Christians, a new report published April 10 revealed (OSV News photo/Temilade Adelaja, Reuters

50,000 Christians have been massacred in fourteen years in Nigeria. In just one Nigerian state, Benue, 591 Christians killed in 140 attacks since the beginning of the year. But from the president of Ireland (a former Catholic country), Michael Higgins, to Amnesty International and the US State Department, our Ʃlite cites climate change as the cause of the persecution of Christians.

While gun attacks in the United States always make headlines, very few of our media outlets carry the facts, stories, and numbers of Christian genocide. Why in the West are the defenders of Gaza terrorists, the singers of good intentions and the fanatics of the fight against "Islamophobia", so silent in the face of the crimes committed by Muslims against Christians?

Commissioner UN human rights officer Volker Turk criticized Israel for its counter-terrorism operation in Jenin, a city from which most of the Palestinian bombers come. It is useless to seek Turk's condemnation of the bloodbath of Christians.

Jumping off the Pont Mirabeau, the great poet Paul Celan said: "La Shoah n'est plus l'affaire des Juifs". The genocide of Christians is definitely not our media's business.

Climate change at fault? If there were no hurricanes, no melting glaciers, no polar bears wandering alone and the African desert was a field of flowers, would there be fewer murdered Christians? They have blamed capitalism, inequality, depression and now the climate. Everything except Islam. As in the burbings in France: the police, the discomfort of the suburbs, Algeria, never the rejection of the West or Islam.

Tens of thousands of simple Christians killed or a girl burned alive do not deserve the slightest protest march or communication campaign. We must believe that only Europe's denunciation of racism, Israel and "police violence" is worthy of Western emotion.

If only these Christians lived in a Parisian suburb, were decolonized Muslims rather than Christians colonized by Islam and were called Nahel instead of Deborah, the girl burned alive because she was a Christian in Nigeria, dozens of people attacking her body, setting it on fire among shouts of joy and devotion to Allah. So yes, as they used to say, they would "enjoy good press".
