Alice Whiskin wants to share her blessings.
“I have been given a lovely gift of having big boobs,” the bosomy, blond 26-year-old posted Monday on Facebook. However, the native of Dartford, England, says her life became a living hell after her already enormous breasts ballooned four sizes in the span of a year.
That’s why she’s pursuing a charitable, albeit unusual, solution: reducing them and donating the excess flesh to breast cancer research.
Whiskin told KentLive her cumbersome cans — which swelled from H- to L-cups this past year — prevented her from completing daily tasks such as walking far, doing chores or even carrying her 3-year-old daughter.
“I am so limited [in] what I can do and it is affecting my mental health,” Whiskin says. “[But] that has hopefully given me the greatest opportunity — to donate my breast tissue to cancer patients.”
The Daily Mail reported Whiskin’s breasts are large enough to be reduced by the National Health Service, after which she “hopes” to donate the extra tissue to cancer patients in need of reconstruction after mastectomies. (That’s unlikely, as the UK’s Breast Cancer Now Tissue Bank and the Komen Tissue Bank in the US both say tissue donations are used for valuable research — not reconstruction.)
Her NHS doctor said the goal of the surgery is to reduce her breasts eight sizes — to a more “manageable” DD- or E-cup.
“I also wanted to help anyone I can, it is going to benefit others who need it more,” Whiskin says. “Boobs are a woman’s identity.”

She admits to being nervous about undergoing surgery — but the death of her boyfriend from a heart attack earlier this year made her realize “how lucky” she is.
As a result, Whiskin started a Facebook campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer with a fundraising goal of $596. Once the target is met, the funds will automatically be donated to Cancer Research UK.
“I want to give something to those suffering from cancer,” Whiskin tells KentLive. “The surgery is four hours and afterwards [it’s] a month of not doing much.”
She tells the site, “I will have a fake nipple and I won’t be able to breast feed if I ever had another baby. They can grow back, there is a 10% chance — but even if it doesn’t work I want this to be talked about more.”
