Oorgrens veiligheid
A farm attack took place on the night of 27 July 2021, at 19:30, on a farm in Sulphur Spring between Piet Retief and Pongola in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. Robbie Khun was lured out of his home by four attackers who started a fire on the farm.
After extinguishing the fire Khun was ambushed, beaten and tied up by the attackers who threatened him whilst demanding firearms and money.
He was abused for two and a half hours by the attackers who then proceeded to ransack the home.
Khun’s dogs were also poisoned by the attackers.
The attackers fled on foot with household items, firearms and ammunition.
Khun managed to free himself and fled to his father’s house that is on the same farm. All role players responded after the alarm was raised but there were no arrests.
Again people are warned to not go outside should they suspect anything but to rather call for assistance and to get involved with local neighbourhood and farm watches.
