South Africa: Farm attack, farmer shot in the chest by attacker, Rensburg

A farm attack took place on 24 November 2021, at 19:00, on a milk farm in Rensburg, outside of Heidelberg in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Quintin Boy and his brother Ivan noticed suspicious people on their farm and went to investigate.
One of the attackers threw a brick at Quintin and then opened fire.
Quintin was shot in the chest and the attackers immediately fled on foot in the direction of the N3.
All role players responded and Quintin was taken to the Netcare Union Hospital in Alberton for medical attention.
A search was launched and one attacker was arrested by the Heidelberg neighborhood watch and handed over to the police.
