South Africa: Farm attack, 2 children tied up, home ransacked, Rietfontein

A farm attack took place on 9 February 2022, at 04:00, on a smallholding in the Rietfontein, in the North West province of South Africa. Three attackers armed with knives gained entry through a kitchen window and opened the door.
The attackers tied up two children that were in the home and then proceeded to ransack the home.
The children were later discovered and rescued. They were still tied up.
The police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
