The new normal for Fox without Tucker

Source: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/05/not-even-bud-lite-lost-much-ratings-showcase-new-normal-fox-news-without-tucker/

The ratings of Fox News following the firing of its primetime host Tucker Carlson are in, and the network appears to have cratered its own audience through the decision.

An audience of roughly 1.48 million viewers tuned in to Fox’s 8 p.m. content on Tuesday, according to Mediaite — the first broadcast of that day of the week since Carlson’s firing.

By comparison, Fox averaged 3 million viewers for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” — more than twice as many viewers.

Even former progressive media host Brian Stelter noticed the gaping hole in Fox’s audience metrics.

Megyn Kelly — herself a former Fox News host — compared the network’s firing of Carlson to Bud Light’s decision to market beer with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

“Bloodbath. Not even Bud Lite… lost this much of its customer base,” Kelly said of Fox’s business decision.

Fox even took a significant ratings hit in the very first primetime broadcast without Carlson.

The newly-titled “Fox News Tonight” had an audience of 2.6 million last Monday — itself airing in the hours firing the announcement of Carlson’s firing.

“Tucker Carlson Tonight” had an audience of 3.2 million on the previous Monday.

It’s likely some Fox viewers even tuned in while unaware that Carlson had been hastily separated from the network, in a personnel move the company framed as a mutual decision.

Hosting Fox’s primetime broadcast since 2017, Carlson routinely dominated his cable news competition in television ratings — with some broadcasts drawing audiences of as many as 3.7 million, according to Mediaite.

Carlson’s ratings success has left many viewers wondering exactly why the popular host was fired to begin with.

Some reports suggest that he had ruffled feathers with provocative off-screen rhetoric that roused the ire of Fox’s corporate management.

Fox News hasn’t revealed its plans for a permanent replacement for “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

O’Keefe Media Group Exposes Massive Democrat Party Money Laundering Scheme in US Elections

Investigative journalist James O’Keefe III broke his first major investigation Tuesday night on O’Keefe Media Group.

The legendary journalist released a teaser video on Monday from his next MASSIVE INVESTIGATION of the Democrat’s VAST NETWORK of donation harvesters.
** MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN DONATION HARVESTING
** HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL DROPS
** CROSSING NUMEROUS STATES!

THIS REPORT BROKE AT 10:20 Eastern on Tuesday night.

The O’Keefe Media Group Uncovers Potential MASSIVE Money Laundering into Political Campaigns
The 9 minute video was posted on Twitter tonight.

The Gateway Pundit has previously reported on the vast far-left network of donation harvesters that James discusses in the video.

The information was first released by Chris Gleason as was first published at The Gateway Pundit back in December 2022. Chris Gleason found a massive number of “Campaign Finance Mules” making hundreds, even thousands of donations per year.

It turns out that millions in donations were sent to candidates like Raphael Warnock from “money mules” around the country. Warnock was the top beneficiary of all 2022 Democrat candidates of this money distribution scheme. In April 2022, engineer Chris Gleason began working on his first data project involving elections. The project was tied to the 2022 midterm election. This was unique for Chris because he had been involved in tech and data for the majority of his adult career although he never used his expertise on a political project. What he and a small group of others determined was that Washington State had a massive network of campaign finance mules. They identified massive numbers of registered voters in Washington State who were making thousands of donations to Democrat party candidates nationwide and progressive PACs. The individual donation amounts were not large. These donations were small and had been intentionally set up to avoid throwing up reg flags.

These “Money Mules” were not wealthy individuals. They were average Americans, living in an average house in an average neighborhood.  Or at least that is how it would appear. The investigative group observed massive patterns and red flags in the data.  One of the biggest flags was that all of these campaign finance mules in Washington State had been making donations to Raphael Warnock in Georgia.

Another massive pattern discovered was that these very active donors were all unemployed.  It appeared that their full-time job was making donations to Democrat candidates and their campaigns.

How is it that so many unemployed people in Washington State would be donating with such frequency to a Senate race in Georgia? Are people in Washington State more politically active and motivated to give money than the average American?

Chris asked “active” donors what they would think if he told them that he had identified voters who were making thousands of campaign donations in an election year.  They all had the same response. “Anyone making that amount of donations is laundering money and is part of a criminal enterprise.”

On Tuesday James O’Keefe used information from Election Watch in Maryland. James then went to the addresses of the top “donation mules” in Maryland. At least one mule slammed the door in his face.

James is asking his army of citizen reporters to knock on doors of the “donation mules” and ask them for a comment.

So long Beetlejuice! Chicago's failed mayor fails to win reelection

Source: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/02/shes-out-failed-chicago-mayor-lori-lighfoot-fails-to-reach-second-round-of-mayoral-race/

The New York Times has just reported current mayor of Chicago, Illinois, Lori Lightfoot has lost her re-election bid.

Lightfoot who has been criticized for her inability to put a stop to violent crime in Chicago was only able to obtain 16.5% of the vote and failed to make it into the runoff for the office.

Mayoral candidate Paul Vallas gained 35% of the vote and Brandon Johnson was able to snag 20%.

Both Vallas and Johnson will face each other in a run-off on April 4th.

As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, Chicago’s election rules require mayoral candidates to garner more than 50% of the vote in order to win, if no candidate is able to meet the 50% threshold then the two candidates with the most votes will face off in a runoff.

LOOK:

Per the New York Times:

Lightfoot of Chicago lost her bid for a second term on Tuesday, The Associated Press said, a resounding defeat that reflected widespread dissatisfaction from voters over her handling of crime and policing in the nation’s third-largest city.

The two candidates to emerge from Tuesday’s first round of voting — Paul Vallas, a former public schools executive, and Brandon Johnson, a county board commissioner — will advance to a runoff election on April 4.

After Paul Vallas received the most votes, the New York Times described Vallas as a Democrat with a conservatize mindset when it comes to tackling crime..

Ohio Supreme Court Suspends Democrat Judge Due to “Unprecedented” Behavior

Source: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/10/ohio-supreme-court-suspends-democrat-judge-due-unprecedented-behavior-removes-cleveland-municipal-court-bench-temporarily-strips-law-license/

Judge Pinkey S. Carr, a Democrat who has served on the Cleveland Municipal Court bench for almost a decade, was removed from her position on Tuesday after the Ohio Supreme Court found that she had committed more than 100 acts of misconduct, Cleveland reported.

Pinkey Carr was removed from the bench and had her law license suspended for committing “unprecedented” levels of misconduct, according to the justices.

The misconduct includes falsifying court documents, disrespectful treatment, lies, and wearing inappropriate clothes in court, such as “spandex shorts” and tank tops, sending someone to jail for rolling their eyes, and demonstrating her “abuse” of power.

The justices voted 5-2 to indefinitely suspend Carr’s law license and to immediately “cease and desist” practicing law.

She will also be suspended from judicial office without pay.

“Carr’s unprecedented misconduct involved more than 100 stipulated incidents that occurred over a period of approximately two years and encompassed repeated acts of dishonesty; the blatant and systematic disregard of due process, the law, court orders, and local rules; the disrespectful treatment of court staff and litigants; and the abuse of capias warrants and the court’s contempt power,” the Supreme Court opinion said. “That misconduct warrants an indefinite suspension from the practice of law.”

Carr stated that her unethical behavior was the result of menopause and sleep apnea caused by a generalized anxiety illness.

Cleveland reported.

According to the court’s opinion, Carr has been indefinitely suspended from practicing law in Ohio and suspended from judicial office without pay while she is suspended. In order to vacate the suspension and be reinstated, the court said Carr will be required to submit a report from a qualified healthcare professional stating that she is “able to return to the competent, ethical and professional practice of law.”

An indefinite suspension isn’t as severe as it sounds. Carr is able to reapply for her law license in two years if she proves to the supreme court she has dealt with her issues. Koblentz said he assumes she will be reapplying.

In December 2021, the Board of Professional Conduct filed a report detailing a slew of misconduct allegations that it said occurred between 2017 and 2020.

The 58-page report detailed the multiple instances of Carr’s misconduct and put everything into five categories:

  • Issuance Capiases and False Statements
  • Ex Parte Communications, Improper Plea Bargaining, Arbitrary Dispositions
  • Improper use of Capiases and Bond to Compel Payment of Fines and Court Costs
  • Public Confidence, Lack of Decorum and Dignity Consistent with Judicial Office
  • Abuse of Contempt Power and Failure to Recuse

To summarize just a few off the issues of misconduct listed, the board said Carr allegedly did the following:

  • During the start of the pandemic when the courthouse activity was suspended, she didn’t reschedule her cases and issued warrants for defendants who failed to appear. She rewarded defendants who did appear by waiving fines.
  • Lied to two media outlets, claiming she had not issued warrants for people who did not come to court.
  • Routinely conducting hearings without the prosecutor present “to avoid compliance with procedural safeguards without interference from the city’s legal counsel. “
  • Recommended pleas to unrepresented defendants with no prosecutor present, accepted pleas without explanation or discussion, routinely dismissed cases after unilaterally entering no contest pleas on behalf of defendants, and waived fines and costs without inquiry as to defendants’ ability to pay.
  • ignored the court’s established procedure to set up contracts to pay fines and costs at the time of sentencing. Set her own “Ability to Pay Hearings” without notifying the defendant or clerk’s office, then would issue a capias ordering the arrest of the defendant and set a bond.
  • Wore inappropriate clothing to her courtroom, including T-shirts, shorts, tank tops and sneakers.
  • Made frequent references to “Paradise Valley,” a Starz television series about a Mississippi strip club, when speaking with her staff and defendants, “all this while lawyers and their clients waited to have their matters resolved and the public watched.”
  • Routinely spoke in an “undignified manner,” made jokes about accepting bribes and kickbacks from defendants.

Tens of Thousands Protest in Prague Against Skyrocketing Energy Prices and Globalism

Source: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/09/tens-thousands-protest-prague-skyrocketing-energy-prices-globalism-prime-minister-calls-pro-russian-extremists/

Western leaders from the US and Canada to Germany, the UK and Czech Republic are determined to sacrifice their people at the alter of globalism and the War in Ukraine.

In July, Czech households paid the highest price in Europe for electricity; and yet, something many Czechs see only as a cruel joke, the country remains among the largest exporters of electricity in the world.

Czech leaders continue to export electricity as their own citizens fall further into debt.

According to Prague Morning,

People living in Prague pay the highest price for electricity in all of Europe, according to the purchasing power parity of the currency. This index includes member states and countries outside the EU, such as Switzerland, Norway, and Russia.

According to the study, the people of Prague paid roughly 52 euro cents per kilowatt-hour in July. That is roughly twice as much as what residents of Bratislava pay and approximately three times more compared to the costs of residents of Budapest or Moscow.

Prague’s residents also pay almost four times more than households in the Swiss capital of Bern and over four times as much as households in Oslo, Norway.

The Czechs have the highest electricity prices in Europe today.
Via Prague Morning.

On Saturday tens of thousands of Czech citizens converged on Prague to protest the skyrocketing energy costs.

In response to the demonstrators the Prime Minister called the protesters pro-Russian extremists.

Slippery slope from Rama-phoria to Rama-problem – Pieter Groenewald

Slippery slope from Rama-phoria to Rama-problem – Pieter Groenewald

FF Plus leader says only thing that will save SA is a change in government; not empty promises and hollow words

Country’s decline demonstrates the slippery slope from Rama-phoria to Rama-problem

14 February 2022

The president of a country is remembered for what he accomplished during his term in office. In President Cyril Ramaphosa's case, South Africa's decline since 2018 demonstrates a slippery slope from Rama-phoria to Rama-problem.

This is exemplified by the empty promises and undertakings that he has been making since his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) in 2018.

In 2018, President Ramaphosa undertook to lead South Africa down a path of growth, job creation and transformation by means of an inclusive social compact.

It was supposed to revolve around job creation, particularly for the youth. Four years down the line, though, reality paints a very different picture. In his first year – long before Covid-19 – growth decreased from 1,1% to 0,8%. In 2019, it declined even further to 0,113%.

In 2018, the unemployment rate was 27,1%, and the expanded unemployment rate was 37%. The unemployment rate has since skyrocketed to the most recent level of 34,9%, while the expanded unemployment rate stands at 46,6%.

The President has now finally acknowledged that it is not the government that must create jobs, but the private sector. Everyone already knows that. Has the President only recently come to this realisation or is the fact subtly and conveniently being used to shift the blame for the high level of unemployment to the private sector?

In his recent SONA, the President promised to establish a task team to address the issue of needless bureaucratic red tape. But he undertook the very same thing in 2020 when he promised that people would soon be able to register companies at the push of a button.

The only ones who benefited from this were the companies that were registered overnight to loot the Covid-19 emergency fund in the name of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE). Needless red tape can be eliminated to a large extent by simply ensuring that all the existing departments function as they should.

The President frequently uses the phrase "Local is Lekker" to emphasise the importance of local interests. But it is not implemented in practice. Cuban engineers, who are not even properly qualified to work locally, are shipped to South Africa while local engineers are unemployed.

The government donated R50 million to Cuba for food security, while 40% of all South Africans live under the breadline. Charity is supposed to start at home, in your own country.

The FF Plus will only believe that the government is serious about economic growth once it restricts the power of trade unions and abolishes BEE and Affirmative Action (AA).

In 2018, the President said that people of all races must participate in building up the country, but the government still discriminates based on race as is evident in recently proposed amendment bills that, among other things, target Afrikaans schools.

At present, legislation that will give provincial departmental heads the power to determine schools' language of instruction and enrolment requirements is being reviewed.

The Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande, does not even want to recognise Afrikaans as an indigenous language.

In addition to the recent report on the unrest in July last year, which clearly points out the President and government's shortcomings, the President had received a report outlining the rampant disorder and corruption in the State Security Agency (SSA) in 2018 already. Nothing was done about it.

On the one hand, the President says that he wants to combat crime in South Africa, but in practice, the police's budget is increasingly cut back. It now only comprises a mere 5% of the total budget.

The only thing that will save South Africa is a change in government. Empty promises and hollow words will not achieve that.

2021: The signs and signals of a new Dark Age

South Africa 2021: The signs and signals of a new Dark Age

Smoke rises from a Makro building set on fire overnight in Umhlanga, north of Durban, on July 13, 2021 as several shops, businesses and infrastructure are damaged in the city, following four nights of continued violence and looting sparked by the jailing of ex-president Jacob Zuma. - The unrest erupted last on July 9 after Zuma started serving a 15-month term for snubbing a probe into the corruption that stained his nine years in power. In a nationwide address , current President Ramaphosa lashed "opportunistic acts of criminality, with groups of people instigating chaos merely as a cover for looting and theft."

‘If we are on the outside, we assume a conspiracy is the perfect working of a scheme. Silent nameless men with unadorned hearts. A conspiracy is everything that ordinary life is not. It’s the inside game, cold, sure, undistracted, forever closed off to us. We are the flawed ones, the innocents, trying to make some rough sense of the daily jostle. Conspirators have a logic and a daring beyond our reach. All conspiracies are the same taut story of men who find coherence in some criminal act. But maybe not.’ – Don DeLillo, ‘Libra’.eyondWords

How do we sum up a year like 2021?

Let’s try this: Both Helen Zille and Jacob Zuma published books over the course of the past 12 months.

Somewhere within these literary parentheses, we can begin to make sense of 2021, during which two of the planet’s most celebrated democracies suffered Cirque du Soleil-style insurrections, one of which was led by a man in a bear suit.

Now, Helen Zille didn’t cause either the American or South African coup attempts. But her intellectual lodestar – the now-mainstream anti-woke American right-wing shout-o-sphere – was at the centre of Donald Trump’s attempt to subvert a free and fair election, in which he won a mind-bending 74 million votes but still got pipped by doddering old Joe Biden.

Zuma, however, did cause an insurrection – the four-day South African boondoggle that followed his incarceration for contempt of court in July. Or, rather, his jailing was used as an excuse by an opposition faction within the ANC, and also by a vast gangster network in both KZN and Gauteng, to try to bring South Africa to a smouldering standstill, oust Cyril Ramaphosa from the presidency, and grab the levers of political and economic power.

Both insurrections failed, which is to say that they didn’t meet their immediate objectives. But in the United States, the Big Steal narrative is now accepted by nearly half the population, and it is the guise under which election “reform” has brought the swing states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and elsewhere under the direct sway of the Republican Party, which has no intention of pursuing traditional democratic pursuits in the future. Donald Trump holds the GOP in his idiot grip, and he’s not letting go: the 2022 midterms will return to him the House and possibly the Senate, and – given the pandemic economic fallout – it’s difficult to conceive of a Republican candidate losing in 2024. American liberalism, which failed to deliver on its manifold promises, is entering a period of darkness. Its durability is not assured.

Meanwhile, the recent trouble in SA is a textbook case of how failing post-liberation societies come apart at the seams. One thing is certain: the violence was sparked intentionally. It formed the latest salvo in a battle between ruling ANC “elites”, which on the one hand constitute the establishment aligned with mainstream media and the formal economic sector; and on the other hand the illiberal outcasts, aligned with the fringe media and the economic underworld. After Zuma’s incarceration, the latter faction employed the techniques of 21st-century civil warfare, in which individuals are weaponised on social media along ethnic and racial lines. The strategic objective was the shutdown of the country’s two most important provinces, in an attempt to subject the logistics, transport and food industries to rapid capture by shadowy players. This in turn sparked a species of popular uprising – a scream of anguish from the poverty-stricken streets.

As far as enforcement is concerned, such an attack can only be countered by solid intelligence work, backed up by responsive policing. But over the course of his two terms in office, Zuma brilliantly co-opted the security cluster, using it as a sort of Republican Guard in order to protect his rule and choke out meaningful opposition to his State Capture project. Many of the stronger operatives have remained loyal to that ongoing operation.

The new guys, having failed to re-repurpose the repurposed State Security Agency, have used the intelligence services to keep a lazy eye on their opponents within the ANC – the usual way in which most former liberation movements consider “intelligence”. Worse, in the long run, the security cluster has no operational intelligence for the trouble brewing over South Africa’s numerous borders. The country is now left without sovereignty in the strict sense of the term.

This insurrection, insists President Ramaphosa and his cheerleaders, has failed. But again – has it? Parts of KZN have been destroyed, much of it forever – a pure example of reverse development. Relations between Africans and those of South Asian descent fester like an open wound, promising more violence. Massive army presence in poorer communities is now a normal South African occurrence.

The taxi cartels – mafiosi dressed up as minivan drivers – have in some cases taken over community governance, often in consultation with the governing party. There is a creeping fetishisation in the press and in government for vigilante groups, assuming their leaders are articulate and black; less so if they are inarticulate and white – nevertheless, these groups exist, and they successfully protect their own small laagers. Ramaphosa himself, in a portion of his speech after the violence, urged a sort of moderated vigilantism when he called for “community policing forums”, presumably some sort of hybrid public-private structures in which the monopoly of violence is extended to include the average armed citizen.

More critically, much like the universe, the Executive expands by the day, as Ramaphosa is forced to bundle more and more governance under the care of the presidency. Of the truly big questions – what caused the Big Bang? Is God dead? How many superhero films are too many? – none is bigger than the following: How did South Africans get saddled with a Cabinet stuffed with such mind-bending mouthbreathers?

Probable answer: Ramaphosa and his predecessors have bought loyalty with Cabinet positions, and must then try to govern by fiat. When the next guy comes along, likely to be less of a mensch than the current guy, he will find that he has the monarchical power of King Mswati of Eswatini. The temptation, as always, is to abuse it.

While the community response to the recent troubles has been admirable in many cases, it’s not nearly enough to paper over what has allowed the illiberal forces to weaponise average human beings in the first place: systemic, brutal economic inequities.

The fallout has been severe: Ramaphosa’s ANC was battered at the polls during the municipal elections in November – it was wiped out as a force in major urban centres, and its rural hold was also scraped away. This leaves Ramaphosa extremely vulnerable –there are no longer any guarantees that he will hold the leadership in the looming 2022 ANC elective conference. The men waiting in the wings are not kind, but it isn’t like Ramaphosa hasn’t been a complete failure – even his apologists no longer pretend that corruption has been “tackled”, and that sustainable economic growth is just one coal-fired power station away.

The twin insurrections in two different but linked democracies point to a series of ruptures that have occurred over the course of this century. The first is driven by social media and the information overload that has caved in any sense of consensus truth. Populations are split not on points on ideology, but on which set of facts they believe. Mistrust of political elites has become so extreme that nutso groups like QAnon earn legitimate political footing, while here in South Africa social media groups drove the narrative that Zuma was “jailed without a trial”, a victim of a political attack that saw him locked up without due process.

In America, the loss of truth is linked to the loss of status: namely of the white under- and over-classes for which America’s bounty was a birthright. They have now forged an unlikely cross-class alliance, and have managed to create a coherent revanchist campaign to roll back rights and entitlements won by women and minorities since the 1960s. It is a war to the death, and only one side seems to know it. The landmark Supreme Court abortion ruling, Roe v Wade, looks set to be undone, while – as we’ve already mentioned – it will be much harder to cast a vote in America come the midterms. One half of the population is about the Big Lie. The other is about the Big Steal. They are tribes that no longer share the same universe. Their only recourse is rupture.

In South Africa, social democracy has produced only a small number of winners. We need not relitigate how the country’s inequities remained entrenched since apartheid, but the status quo that has held since 1994 is no longer viable – a new supremacist cabal hopes to grab the initiative from the sclerotic ANC elite, while destroying the formal – in this case, the white – economic base. Again, this faction runs on its own set of facts, its own prescribed narratives, its own alignments with anti-vaxxers and evangelical doomsayers. Their bespoke multiverse exists because it fills the hole that the South African establishment dug for itself when it refused to be either munificent or efficient – alternative truths exist in the yawning gap between promise and possibility.

Can any of this be reversed? At the moment, that seems unlikely. The liberal elites don’t seem to grasp the urgency. Entire swathes of America remain unknown to Democrats; entire provinces of South Africa are mysteries to the ruling ANC elite. In the fog of their ignorance, entire institutions crumble without their noticing – the press; the police; the courts; the public square. It’s dire. The technocratic state moves slowly, but the lies and disinformation are swift – and now runaway global inflation is tearing a new imaginarium into global politics.

And hanging over us all is the spectre of climate change, the knowledge in our bones that the planet is desperately sick, but there is no will to heal it. And perhaps that is the lesson that 2021 has inflicted upon us: without will, there will be steady, irreversible backsliding. As a new Dark Age looms directly ahead of us, perhaps it’s time to take the signs and portents seriously. If both right-wing Zille and “radical” Zuma are producing literary efforts, maybe it’s time to reject these ridiculous dichotomies. The right is dead. The left is dead. At its best, under all the face masks and hand sanitiser, 2021 has delivered a call for a new politics. The question is: Will we answer? DM168

Kamala Harris Believes Her Media Coverage Would Be Better If She Were a White Man - Report

Kamala Harris Believes Her Media Coverage Would Be Better If She Were a White Man

US Vice President Kamala Harris has not been enjoying much positive press recently: what with staff escaping from her team in droves and approval ratings which have been plummeting, it seems as though more and more questions are being raised in the media regarding her political future.
Kamala Harris has privately shared with her aides some of her grievances concerning the media coverage she's received, claiming that the press would treat her better if she were a white man, The New York Times reported Thursday, citing White House insiders.
Harris, who is the first coloured woman to be appointed vice-president, was preceded by 48 white males. With so many "firsts" to live up to, the VP is struggling to "define herself" in Joe Biden's White House.
Harris' efforts appear to include seeking advice from her powerful confidantes, such as former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton.
“There is a double standard; it’s sadly alive and well,” Clinton said, cited by the NYT. “A lot of what is being used to judge her, just like it was to judge me, or the women who ran in 2020, or everybody else, is really coloured by that.”
Among those who voiced compassion with the vice-president was transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg.
“I think it’s no secret that the different things she has been asked to take on are incredibly demanding, not always well understood publicly and take a lot of work as well as a lot of skill,” he told the outlet.
However, other people, such as Texas representative Henry Cuellar, offered a different look at Harris. The Democrat lawmaker from Texas' 28th congressional district shared with the NYT a story of when he offered help to the vice-president (who, among other things, is responsible for tackling the border crisis); when he learnt that she was due to be visiting the border his office offered help and advice but never received a call back.
“I say this very respectfully to her: I moved on,” Cuellar said. “She was tasked with that job, it doesn’t look like she’s very interested in this, so we are going to move on to other folks that work on this issue.”
He is not the only one to be disappointed with Harris' handling of the border crisis, as she also gets massive criticism on the issue from the Republicans, who claim that even during her visit to the border she chose to confine herself to places that were least affected by the surging number of migrants.o

Aside from this, Harris is also dealing with an exodus of staffers: over the course of recent months, reports first emerged about the "toxic" atmosphere in the vice-president's office, with several key employees leaving the team shortly afterwards. Among those who parted ways with Harris were her long-time aide Symone Sanders and communications director Ashley Etienne.
The VP herself has been trying to distance herself from claims that she has a "toxic" management style. Many of her defenders previously asserted that a good part of the backlash she faces stems from the critics' "racism" and "sexism".
